  1. SSV in Huntingdale are awesome! I bought my car there 2 years ago! STAY AWAY from SEI in Dandenong unles you want to buy an oily lemon!
  2. Silver Skylines = hotness.
  3. Bring it on!
  4. You like?
  5. Good points dude.
  6. No you will not be able to afford it by working at a local Safeway/Coles stacking shelves or flipping burgers at Maccas/Hungry's. However in saying so, 150 K is not much for a car these days. You just need to get a decent paying job, stop wasting money on booze, smokes, useless mods and partying... save, save and save. Make sure you own a house before you go out to buy the GTR. And off course, dont be a dumb ass by buying it off the showroom for 150 K... wait anothr 3-4 years and buy it for 120 or so... I'd love to have one next year, but currently I need to buy my first real estate... so the car can wait, plus I have my R33 to play around with... it aint an R35 GTR but still fun.
  7. You spend more time online than driving...
  8. And I thought my skyline was thirsty at at just over 12 litres per 100 km...
  9. Its all about being a true blue bogan aussie
  10. Last I heard, Monaros dont handle any better than an SS. Two less doors means very little as they weigh just about the same, maybe 15 KG difference max. But in all honesty, if you want to compare Skylines to Commodores, compare GTRs to HSV GTS and compare SS to GTS-T.
  11. Your car knowledge astounds me...
  12. You're on the wrong forums, driving the wrong car...
  13. Nissan does not make V10s...
  14. Sounds like a Ferrari! Love it.
  15. BP Ultimate > V Power > Vortex
  16. At SEI in Dandenong I saw one R33 with 2400 KMs on the clock, asked why and John said cos they changed the panel...
  17. If its "wasted gases" why does it guzzle fuel so much once you put your foot down?
  18. Apart from the fact that they drink 18 litres + lol
  19. Was just thinking, what is better for fuel conomy generally, a blower or a turbo? In theory the turbo is meant to be more conomical as it only gets used after a certain RPM, while the blower kicks in immediately and eases off at higher RPM?
  20. Ive driven the VU SS ute... I think it is a VX equivalent as the VT model did not have utes. The car feels super fast, quicker than my R33 GTST. Can be thirsty on local streets. Many early LS1s had piston slap defect, so make sure to ceck it out prior purchase as the only way to rectify it is to rebuild the engine. Go for VX SS, with the petrol prices I am sure you can find one for 16 K more or less.
  21. Autos boxes rule in skylines! If you drive in traffic, esp japan, then auto is a must. As for mods, u may want to get a tranny cooler.
  22. If its for the R33 then I wouldnt do it.
  23. Modena
