  4. Well today, I sold my beloved Skyline. I had her for two years and had no problems what so ever (apart from my ineptness with Skylines which got smoothed out as time went by). Now its time to look for something more economical and that is cheap to run. Must be auto, white/silver and Japanese. I have been wondering about the next 4 cars: 1. My number one choice, Toyota Corolla 2005 Model. The look allright, have some go and have plenty of room (im 6'4). Cost around $16 K for a good one. 2. Toyota Yaris. Looks bit ghey but drinks even less petrol... but I heard they handle like crap and might be bit squashy for me. 3. Nissan Pulsar... I dont like the way they look but they seem like good value for money. 4. Suzuki Swift. They look cool and are cheap... but will I fit inside being tall? Any comments and advice?

  6. Currently I have my personalised number plates on my car, i used to have generic ones. Can i take off my personalised plates, put back the generic ones, call vic roads tell em to update the plates change and then sell the car with RWC and rego with the generic plates?
  7. Guys, Need quick advice. I want to sell my car. What happens with Vic Roads? Can someone run me down the process of selling your car and what parts Vic Roads play? Any hidden costs, whos responsibility it is to register the car with new plates and so on? My rego finishes in August.
  8. They have a nice body shape but are a money pit. The engine is so cramped, not many mechanics will work on them. The parts shouldn't be too hard to find as there are many in Australia. But it is an old car so itll prolly be falling apart. Go for something else if she does not know a thing about them... they are not your daily car, more like an enthusiast's car.
  9. Funny... I have a stock R33 GTS-T and I get 450-480 KMs pretty much all the time to a tank. There seems to be little diff between fuel eco with NA and turbo skylines (not including the modded turbos)
  10. Try selling your GTT later dude, you will not get much compared to GTR.
  11. R33 S3 GTR = sexy.
  12. I bet you dont wear sunscreen to the beach either... lol
  13. Actually the people that will be able to afford to buy and run HSVs and V8s will be tradies and cashed up bogans
  14. In my experience, most owners of pit bulls and staffies are bogans with attitude. Some guys are allright but its usually the minority. They are also careless with their dogs... I had one guy let his dog go in the middle of the road so I had to slam on my breaks and my car nearly went sideways... when I looked at him with "WTF?" expression, he just looked at me and kept walking... d&^%head...
  15. It won't change a thing... sadly... but with all the pollution from our cars, I am glad that very soon all petrol cars will be history... bring on the electrics.
  16. Yeah the acting is great, esp Roberta Williams...
  17. Who did you know? PK? lol
  18. In 10 years time 80% of all SAU will be driving Echos, Corollas and Prius'... the rest will have enough money to afford petrol to drive their R35 GTR. Wake up people, the age of car is finished. Petrol will be around 2 bucks at the start of next year. Vpower and BP Ultimate is around $1.70 already. Its only the matter of time before the government will start charging extra for those driving turbo and v8 cars and 4 wheel drives. In UK they already pay three times more to keep fuel guzzling cars.
  19. Good point. If you kill his dog, not only will you be a heartless c0ckhead, but the dog's owner will not only scratch your car, he will dint it, smash the glass and will also do the same to your face... I know I would.
  20. The pit bull would of bitten on your nuts so hard you'd shit your pants, get real. Ok the dog was out of place no biggie. Be happy that it was a dog and it polished out, it could have been much worse if a gang of kids came out of nowhere and chucked rocks at your car.
  21. YES! I cant bollocksing get episodes 11, 12 and 13!
  22. ANyone got ep 11-13? I saw all but those last three.
  23. With petrol being around 3 bucks a litre within th e next 5-10 years, Ill be driving a nice Corolla and probably be too busy paying off my first property as well as hopefully investing in the second investment property... once that is going well, I wouldn't mind driving an R35 GTR on weekends, that is only if I can pay cash for it though.
  24. I aint a family man... yet The car is only for myself and my girl. In saying that, if I needed more space... I would get myself a Toyota Camry or Aurion... just cant beat the economy and reliability of Toyota.
