Update for those who chimed in: About 5 weeks ago I got the fine in the mail...i got done doing 9 KMs over the limit. Because of my proven clean record I applied for an official warning... and today I got it They waved the 130 buck fine plus the demirit points. So for those with clean driving records that got done by a fixed speed camera... ask for an official warning!

Well I just sold my Skyline after two years of ownership and really need to find a cheap to run but nice and reliable car (looking to spend between $16-$23K) Im also buying a house soon so hence why I cant really afford to keep a fuel hungry PULP drinking car.

Lets sack the state government

Whil I agree that they should tax high on smokes and alcohol (too many people getting wasted and causing lung cancer around here) I find that tax on other things is unfair. Funny how when you buy a new car or a house you gotta pay taxes, then when you sell it again the government wants taxes again! Whatta joke with the first home buyer's grant, they give you $10 K to buy a first home, then they charge you $14 K in fees... greedy pricks.
