Ls1 and Ls2 chevy V8s are quick. the old 5 litre V8s are fairly slow compared to GTSTs.

+1 You already have a nice car. Buy a house. Think long term success not short term thrills. In 5 years time when you get equity on your new property, you will be able to buy the new GTR that will crap all over the current list of cars you are looking at. Be patient with money and use your brains to invest now and reap rewards later. Dont be like 99% of other young guys spending all they have on flashy cars when they are young. 99% of guys mess up financially early on so they end up never owning any exotics (Ferraris, Lambos, new GTR etc) You are getting 70 K for FREE, invest it wisely!! The choice is yours.

Ive had my R33 GTST with turbo back zorst for over 1.5 years and never been pulled over by cops... I drive spiritedly but I avoid all the ypical "uleh" hang outs.

Yeah I have put the sound absorbing material back and will put the seat back this weekend. i dont care if my car is loud outside, as long as it is nice and quiet in the cabin... Thanks guys!

My current muffler is 3.5, will it make much of a difference with 3 inch muffler as others have stated?

Will the Xforce muffler fit to the JJR exhaust? Mine is 3 inch going into 3.5 inch muffler I think I see on Just Jap they have a 3 inch x force mufflers for 195 bucks... is is straight bolt on to my JJR exhaust?

If I were you Id strip the car and sell the parts. Then work your ass off for the next few years and dont buy any cars as they will drain your funds. If you can, drive your parents car or something. Then buy your dream car, or buy a house/property and use equity to buy yourself a car later. If you dont do the above then you risk becoming broke. Then if you keep being good with your money, all your mates will still drive their R34s and R33s while you might be able to buy the new GTR... I dont know your situation really but if I could of done it all again, I would of bought a house first and then my car.

I liked the bov "pshttt" noise... lol I bought a GFB hybrid bov, it can vent 100% to atmo, be 50/50 or do full recirc. Soon after, my car started stalling like crazy on 100% atmo, I adjusted it to 50/50, same thing. My car became ver unreliable, it would stall in the middle of the traffic lights, on the freeway doing 100 KM/h, and so on. It became dangerous to drive it as I never knew when it would stall. And no, as The Mafia said, "surprisingly" the chicks did not flash their tits and vaginas at me after I did a fully sick BOV noise! I decided to take the atmo bov off and fitted back my stock one. No more stalling and my car is as reliable as it was before. Ive learned my lesson...

Stay away from SEI if you actually value your hard earned money. Ive dealt with them myself last year, and glad I walked away not buying the car after I did RACV inspection on it which was an oily rust bucket and John claimed hi fixed all the problems, I did the second RACV test and it came back with the exact same problems. They force their dodgy cars on you too. Go see SSV in Hungtingdale, they are awesome people, dont push their cars onto you.

Sounds like a big job... needs welding? I also have my back seat taken out (coupe) would this perhaps made the noise levels sudenly increase from the exhaust?

Hi guys, Am I safe to say that when you remove the back seat out of the R32/R33/R34 coupe the exhaust noise levels rise by a margin? I didnt have a problem with my Just Jap exhaust before, but now that my back seats are taken out... its kinda annoying me with the noise. Thanks.

I have a Just Jap turbo back zorst on my R33 GTST, anyway I want to make it more quiet, is this a simple procedure or will I need a new exhaust altogether or at least a new tail pipe? I heard a resonator might help. Thanks
