  1. Here is something for you to read: http://www.999today.com/motorandautos/news/story/3522.html http://www.caradvice.com.au/1436/top-10-reliable-brands/
  2. I meant stock... btw it looks like a Magna.
  3. I asked the same question 3 weeks ago and apparently the answer is no... dont reset.
  4. Toyota is considered to be the most reliable car manufacturer in the world. They sell quality cars at affordable prices. For every Toyota that breaks down, 5 Nissans do.
  5. They seem like a decent car... too bad they are not attractive.
  6. I posted this in the oils thread... no reply... If I was to go for Redline motor oils, what one would best suit me. My car: Nissan Skyline R33 GTS-T. Stock with turbo back exhaust. 65,000 KMs. Do not go to the track. Should I go for 5w-30, 5w-40 or 10w-30?
  7. Love the wheels!
  8. For a bit of "vroom chooo" you waste a lot of money because you will be back to the stock bov... I know... I did.
  9. Faulty air flow meter? Do you have a non braced/shielded pod?
  10. Soarer is slow compared to turbo Skylines. TT Soarer does like low 8s 0-100 KM/h. V8 Soarer is even slower, around high 9s. Soarers are heavy, luxury cruisers.
  11. Thats good because you will need more than half of it when doing a full change over service... i had to get like 12 litres of Trans Max Z to do a full service... at 70 bucks per bottle it wasnt cheap.
  12. If its venting to atmo then you will run rich and your car will occasionally stall. Atmo BOVs on Skylines can be a bad mix. You can fix it up, DAFS.
  13. Another question. If I was to go for Redline motor oils, what one would best suit me. My car: Nissan Skyline R33 GTS-T. Stock with turbo back exhaust. 65,000 KMs. Do not go to the track. Should I go for 5w-30, 5w-40 or 10w-30? Im confused.
  14. Dont we need 5 litres of oil for the engine? So if you only buy 5 * 0.950 ML thats like 4.75 litres. Is that enough or do we need 5 litres exactly? Also if the car is stock, sees no track and seldomly gets floored on the streets, can I just service it every 10,000 KMs?
  15. Check your AFM, borrow a mates working one or check the solder in your AFM (need to pry open the plastic)
  16. Im personally sticking with Castrol Transmax Z (fully synthetic). Its fairly pricey around 65-70 bucks for 4 litres, but feels great on the gears!
  17. Hey thanks for that. Redline Synthetic Oil 5w-40 from performanceclub.com is about 17 bucks per 950 ML. So thats 6 * 17 which is around 114 dollars. How much is the delivery charge from them as it does not say? Cheers!
  18. Nice car mate!
  19. Redline is better cos its ester based group 5 oil. Mobile 1 is synthetic too but belongs to group IV as it does not have ester. Mind you I might try Mobile 1 myself at the next service... i just cant convince to spend over 200 bucks for an oil change when my car does not see the track and is stock.
  20. Nice rims dude!
  21. Ultimates are dusty as anything...
  22. Ive got Bendix Ultimates and they squeel like a bitch. Ive used the anti squeel red goo on them and they still squeel.
  23. Im pretty happy with mine.
