  1. I went to Bursons today and saw Nulon had 100% synthetic oil... no other oils including Mobil had the 100% sticker.
  2. hey my car is also 96 GTST, I presume same colour as yours (silver), can we buy any paint from nissan with this oclour code like touch up paint?
  3. Ha? You mean the closed air vents button? From what I know it only just blocks the air vents, it doesnt drain any energy (recycles the cabin air). I usually have it on in the city and open it up in the country area where the air is fresh.
  4. Just Jap Hyperflow 3.5 inch turbo back zorst with split dump pipe. Love it.
  5. Ive seen S1 with S2 headlights. Look around ebays, try the Japanese ebay for sure.
  6. I agree, they look hot for a small car, the whole mini image appeals to many.
  7. Good point. I guess Im just being cynical. I first was using Shell Helix Ultra, got told its not that good. Also Ferrari endorses it quiet a bit and their engines are prone to rebuilding often... might have more to do that they dont get driven that much but still. Then I moved onto Castrol Edge Sport (improved R formula)... I want to stick with it as its rather good value and prior Ive only read good things about Castrol. I dont want to really pay above 70 bucks for 5 litres of engine oil since my car never sees the track or hard motoring.
  8. Is that crap? lol
  9. Yeah cos when my AFM was playing up (loose solder in the electrical contacts) when I moved the AFM around the car would hunt and then stall depending on which position I had the AFM in 9unsecured without a brace). Then once we unplugged it, the car just stalled on the spot.
  10. My car stalls on the spot if AFM is unplugged.
  11. So what group does my current oil Castrol Edge Sport 5w-30 belong to?
  12. Cool dude! Good luck with it all, your car will be a beast!
  13. A pod without bracing for 5 years??? I did that in my car and my AFM f**ked up in like 2 months. It was the dumbest mod Ive ever done to my car right after fitting and atmo BOV. Needless to say my car is back to its "stock" form and runs 100 times better. Anyway, i think it is your AFM and it may need resoldering inside the electric circuits as when pods are not secure, they bump your AFM around and destroy the electrical contacts. Open that fuse box and check it out. Have a soldering kit with you.
  14. I too have an R33 S2 GTS-T with 64000 KMs. Mine still has the old (I believe anyway) o2 sensor and I get 420+ KMs to a tank regularly. Mine only has turbo back zorst as a mod. Its also auto so drinks bit more than manual when cruising. Other things to do which improves fuel economy: Get a fuel injector cleaner, any auto shop has them. Check /change your air filter That should give you better economy.
  15. Trex you seem to know your stuff about oils, is this true? The other thing, even if Castrol is not 100% synth, I doubt it matters much since most people change their oils 5000-7000 KMs.
  16. Its meant to compete with Ferrari F430... and the likes... Ferrari is still a F E R R A R I...
  17. Get a new o2 sensor. Around 100 bucks from here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=135194
  18. Where do u get that info from?
  19. You will hate your atmo bov once your car starts stalling on freeways, traffic lights and other busy places. Been there done that. If you really want to waste your money on a bov, get a GFB Stealth fx. They sound good and can be adjusted manually.
  20. To cover your ass in the future. If you accidentally post a pic of you burning rubber, police might chase it up.
  21. Mineral oil first, then after around 5 K switch to fully synthetic. DAFS.
  22. Its ok... http://www.melbourne.vic.gov.au/info.cfm?top=140&pg=1082
  23. Hopefully itll be ok just to park in those other areas. Cheers.
  24. Im at Monash dude. I thought you need that blue sticky thing to park in those areas?
