I've only got a turbo back zorst fitted. But the current filter is kinda old. So I need to replace it regardless.

I installed a new turbo back exhaust on my R33 GTST and I found that when I fang it right up to 7000 RPM then back off, as soon as it backs off to lower revs, I hear this slight pop off sound (almost like a slight fart) that the car gives off... just wondering if its all ok. I run stock BOV and otherwise the car is stock. Its also auto.

Are you guys talking about the filter for the stock air box? Cos thats what Im after. I have currently the apexi one but its old and abused lol I dont want to fit a pod (K&N) without CAI and a sealed box... so I much rather get a good panel filter... a boxed panel filter does a much better job than an exposed pod. I saw on nengun they sell em for 36 bucks with further 36 bucks delivery fee... I want to buy in Melbourne something like that for 40 bucks where I pick it up or something.

Get a turbo back exhaust and watch your Skyline come alive... Ive just installed mine and it chirps at 40 KM/h.

The guy who sells cars there is actually allright bloke. He let me drive a car with my mate, he also does not force or push his cars on to you. He had some good and average cars when I looked... so when you go make sure you take someone who knows their cars. But yeah Id recommend buying from there! The car listed also looks mint however you can get a turbo for about 2-3 K more...

Forget BOVs... unles you want to start getting problems with ur car runnign rich (poor economy) and an occasional stall. get a turbo back exhaust. I just got Just Japs JJR high flow turbo back and it kicks ass... not too loud and you can really see the improvement in the top end revs.

Whenever I drive on the weekend I see about 3-5 Skylines a day. Drive a few and see if you like it. Defects? Lets just say that they are much better built than Falcons and Commodores. then again only cool c**ts drive em

Very sad story and rest in peace. There is a huge difference between specifically organizing an illegal street drag and doing a course run at excess 100 KM/H+ than just giving it a small booting off the lights and reaching the legal speed limit. Unfourtunately people who organise these types of events on the streets are bound to end up, sorry, scared and/or dead. They often involve others around them (usually innocent by standers or other innocent drivers). Sadly this will never end unles their car gets confiscated after repeated offences.

I got the whole turbo back system from JJ and it came with X Force hi flow cat, so in theory it should be an easy job right?

I just got the whole turbo back zorst with split dump pipe and x force cat. Ill be fitting it soon and will get back to you. When you say you had to get it "heat expanded" what you mean by that?
