you have to replace the screen.... they have different signal sent through, the screen won't be able to read if you get a player here..

pit, vehicle inspection centre I think its named that way because of the hole underneath to inspect the underside of the car. They do it this way in W.A not sure in melb. I don't recomend getting eng cert unless you got yellow sticker.. its quite expensive

eng cert does not come from workshops, you have to go to the pit and get a list of approved engineers. The ones I had, he is a retired mechanical engineer. he looked at the Australian standards for the vehicle and compare it with what you have. he'll then make a report to be submitted to the pits. They have nothing to do with garages as they are meant to me impartial third party

getting off the shelf cost about 1.5 times sometimes double of what you could have gotten the items for if you were to get them online. unless its an absolute emergency, I don't recommend getting them from local shops...Intercooler kits are rather common, you can get them from any performance shop, but will probably be china branded ones. Dump pipe, just go to an exhaust shop and got them made up.

don't use 044, won't work.. its an external pump. you can shove it into the tank, but the pump will never be able to take fuel from teh bottom bit of the tank. if the sus filter you talking about is the super sound or whatever, re-consider using them.. I've got 1 atm, the heat shield, kinda work more like a heat trapping mechanism, it also restricts air flow. you'll probably need to change your front pipe, dump pipe , have an external gate, unless you getting GT30/40 the ones internally gated, also you'll need exhaust manifold, fuel regulator... the list you mention above, they may already cost more than $7k btw..

btw, before you consider getting a screen, think if its going to be used at all, I kinda regret getting a dvd screen, the car has to be on when playing otherwise battery goes flat, most of the time when the car is on, you'll be driving, its for the passengers benefit I guess, but then again, the passeger would rather choose to talk to you then to play games or watch movies... in the year I've got the player, I've used it only once to watch a movie. and play music for the rest of the time. considering the money I spent on the screen, i could have gotten a high end head-unit. ^^

the monitor does not work in Australia, so no point having it there.... jsut get the GTR middle console thingy, about $800 I think.. buying 3 defi gauges would hit approximately that pricing usually the GTT middle console has the climate control right undeer the air con vents, you could probably try shifting the climate control up so you have dual din space to play around with. I had my dvd player mounted in that position
