Hahaa food na you don't check them to earth you put the multimeter on volts and put the two wires on the meter to the two wires for the speaker and it should say on the meter witch is witch

speakers will never be 12 to 14v and the raido swaps power down both wires usually around 1.5v so one wire could be .5v and the other earth then it might swap depending on what sound it needed to make thats why all speakers have + and - you might not notice it strait away but try something reeeely bassey and if you hear puck puck puck instead of doof doof swap the wires

you got it thats what i do when you r at the headunit. but if you r at the speaker you cant do it so you use a multimeter but your right i do about 6 headunits a day battery works great

polarity on speakers does matter heaps if their is any bass it will sound like a puck instead of a doof use a multimeter put it on volts and check it. using the polarity around the way for too long will damage the voice coil in the speaker.

very easy swap i almost did it years ago. the engine bolts strait up. the bonnett needs to lift about 30mm and mine had a factory hole for the wiring in the fire wall. i wish i did it but brought a house and sold the car i miss the car

my guess without looking at it aftermarket door motor in drivers door is wornout or out of allignment.

1 check belt tenshion. 2 if the mechanic disconected the battery the settings on your headunit could have been changed.

smelt that sweet coolant smell opened the bonnet and what do you know cracked radator top tank just what i needed one week from my wedding found a new better 3 core radator and new hoses and high flow thermostat and fitted it all now alls good and only cost $450.00 back on the road again
