ive been qouted 550 dollars for a bare metal respray for my bonnet. its the last thing i want to get done on my car as my bonnet has some stone chips on it and a key mark on the front of it. any tips for someone that has never had anything sprayed before. any reccommendations of spraypainters. cars going on to a r31 dyno day tommorrow with the boost up :) more and then off to respray the bonnet then its finished till something brakes:)

car would weigh 1400 tops as ive been trying to save weight whereva possible... removed hicas + abs + alot of other crap... im trying to get it to 1300 ill have to weigh it i hold my car in high regard as even though i know r31s arent everyones cup of tea i am an enthusiast and i paid alot for this car over a r33 and over importing and complying a 32gtr.

the turbo is a hks25/30 and its got bit of other shit done like cut plenum etc. yeah i was stoked close to 210 on 1bar

mate i saw ur car at boostworx when i had mine dynoed few days ago and asked shaun whos it was its a f*kn beauty top work. love it. is it 25 or 25/30 engine? all in all ive been using shauns business for two years and spent alot of money there... i recommend it... but then again its getting harder and harder to make a booking lol. his prices are v reasonable

yeah ur right ive seen 88silos burnouts marks a big part of r31club aswell. lol im happy to rev up to 7. all in the future the main thing was that i was happy with my result on 1bar and that it could make alot more with boost raised to whatever is safe

yeah prob 25/30 but i love the gtr engine torques good but i still want ti to rev out just a little bit... not like a rb30et. anyways yeah the turbotech it is works a treat

just a turbotech one... i was sceptical at first but it works well tricking the wastegate and holds well boost. i was looking at more expensive options such as greddy profecb. but i dont want to switch boost levels i can drive accordingly to do that lol. 25 seems the cheap option im opting for at least 300rwkw with poncams and rebuild or else its not worth it. sr20s would be cool butt... itd be making similar power maybe a little more and little more response... 25/30 offers the most bang for buck another likely option.... and the gtr engine u cant go past in terms of sound and engineering but very expensive. having owned a rb30et id say a 25 (possibly 25/30) would offer the best compromise between the age old debate of power delivery

but ur from victoria! i got my car tuned with a new boost controller. and got 208.6rwkw on 1 bar (15psi i think) - ofcourse at boostworx... shaun the champ charged me like nothing and i got more power at less boost. previous was 205.4 at 1.1bar. and they say rb20s suck. i could easily run more boost but its enough for the street. plan is to either put a gtr engine in this or a 25 if im on a budget or build a 25/30. end of this year as i finish uni half way through this year unless i buy a gtr also. so im gona drive this engine till it blows its only done 67000kms so far. felt that i could share my plans with u guys.

ill accept best offer over 50bucks i wnt to get new black ones and move on with my life lol. i havent advertised these elsewhere and some went for $120 in worse cond on sau parts for sale. here are more pics and also of the only one (passangers side ) that got cracked grip rest are as new... the last pic is showing the carpet of the cracked grip one and that its good

i use aluminium flywire. it sticks right up against it and works a treat. i challenege u to see its there lol. use that

who was the guy with the stockish looking r32gtr i parked next to at morphetville .sweet and clean i shoulda said hi. my cars got gtr running gear. just needs the engine now. lol but im prob getting a gtr aswell end of the year. gtr=king hi to all i didnt get to say hi too. chops ur calais looking nice. when u take it dwn the qrtr im gona try join u.. would b nice to hear screaming.
