  1. why the negativity? a dentpuller is a tool used by panel beaters to pull out dents from cars.. (and this is a car forum ) it is a long bar with a screw up one end, and a handle up the other. There is a big weight that slides up and down the bar, which can be thrusted back (after being screwed into the lock) and make just about any ignition shit itself.. it is also commonly known as a slidehammer and can be purchased from any marlows for $30 max Basically.. If i seen you and you had an immobiliser, all i would have to do is just run up to your car, screw the dentpuller in the door, BANG, door lock out, open, ignition, BANG, ignition out, start and whalla.. because you are going through the ignition, there is no steering lock, and if you do this in under 30 secs, then the immobiliser doesnt come on, and if you stall the car, it doesnt come on, and if you leave the car, just dont turn it off on. I really shouldnt be giving this information out, as it could be used to steal my car But since people are worried about their cars so much, buy an alarm with NO delay.. none of this 30 seconds bullshit. Still, a well prepared thief can steal anything. The only foolproof method is get a laser cut key thingy.. only that specific key will work, it has electronic shit in it, so that when you bust out the ignition with a dentpuller, it will just trigger the alarm A little expensive, but a must have for your R34 GTR 10 second car I was going to study criminology at uni, but ive opted for social work, if you are wondering why i know so much

Unless they are hi-tech crims or just little fags walkin about with a digicam, waiting to find a line to jerk off to, then i wouldnt really worry too much, there are only two ways to steal a skyline.. dentpuller + knowledge and bashing the person for the keys And i doubt many people would have enough knowledge to get past an alarm/immobiliser (dick smith sell radar scanners for codes for immobilisers.. these should be banned i think. thats how people get away with stealing bmw's etc.) whilst on the topic of video footage.. im thinking of getting the digicam out and getting some doooriiiftooo action onto cd Ill edit all the number plates and faces if need be.. im just waiting for my welded 4.1:1 diff and 14' stockers And then you can see a stock.. 'ish' R31 Auto RB30 drift... i should submit a form to Ripleys believe it or not..
  3. MZ11 Soarer, licenced in WA for about 4 months, perfect 215/14 tyres. Needs: Paint and engine. I have a 1G-GTE which im willing to sell with the car, complete with turbos and everything, excellent condition head too. Also there is a 1G-EU for extra parts (bolts mainly ) $1000 complete with the motor and turbos $500 for the car as is.. Im willing to swap for a good condition larger turbo to suit RB30 I will post pics later this afternoon

    Drifting Mods

    I have a R31 which is pretty stockish, just with the usual exhaust/pod/timing mods.. and wanted to know where to start modifying so i can slide better. I can power over in the dry quite easily, and its not a power slide action either, mainly due to the rear left tyre being 20% tread, and the rear right spinning, and the fronts are 205/55/15 pirelli p6000's.. it is an auto, but 2nd gear is great, it doesnt kick down like most cars, so i can just leave it in that gear and go sideways, its nuts in the wet Pretty much, what i was thinking of getting was a spooled diff.. the only downside of this is that it is illegal.. also, i think 14's on the back would make it slide alot more/easier, but would it stuff up the suspension balance or something due to the tyre sizes? I want to be able to control the bloody thing, not just rocket sideways round a corner and end up in grandmas front rose garden. Stiffer springs are next on the agenda, sometime..

    Prestige motorsport has PLENTY of nice drift cars in stock.. very cheap too if you want to REALLY drift.. get a ae86 with a 4AGTE (1.6L turbo.. yes, 1.6l turbo ) for about $8000 (non turbo fully worked, and turbo it for the other few grand that you have spare from the sale of the 33 Then you can REALLY dooooorriiiiffttt.... Or get a R31 GTS-X for under 10k, and mod that thing, they can run into the 12's pretty easily with the right mods..
  6. if ppl can get away from police in 5L commos.. there's no catching a R34.. either they stole it to thrash it, and if they know how (and where) to drive, they wont get caught.. if they have the brains to get a R34 anyway, it wont be coming back.. either that, or its going to be stripped and its a professional job..

  9. How much did they spend though? Compare that to how much Lindsay spent on the GTS2 genuine RB30ET.. and then tell me that RB20 is better RB30 is a low revvin truck motor.. and the Rb20 has nothing at the bottom of the rev range.. depends what you like, each to their own.

Its much appreciated.. even the pricks at the toyota forums wont tell me shit, and the R31 skyline club are like (now that i dont have a r31) "put a new head on it and sell it" geeeezz... it burns a R31.. and its a friggen 1981 car! I am a nissan man through and through though.. but thats not the point :'(
  12. Sweet.. RB20 or RB30? For about $3000, you can get a R31 GX with some rims.. and for about $5000, and if you do some mods yourself.. a turbo.. and then you will get about 300rwhp, which will put you into high 12's.. But you have to get a lower compression block.. or an easier trick.. get a copper head gasket! Just a larger one, not prone to damage like the normal gaskets, but make the head fk up easier.. well worth it dont drop the compression to turbo specs though, just enough so you can run about 12-14psi *drools*
  13. lol @ degreaser in the engine.. thanks for the advice.... but i think ill go with JimX's idea Ill drain the oil, use some crap oil for now, then after a few mins, put some engine flush stuff in with it, let it run for longer, and then see how it runs after a full oil change with some magnatec Might even get a carbon clean, but i think thats for the intake isnt it? Also, the motor im talking about is a 2.8L dohc, above the head, there is 2 separate sections.. i guess these would hold the two cams, if so, is there any water jackets/lines running through there? because im thinking it may not be the head gasket, as the oil is on TOP of the inlet manifold etc.. and in the middle of the two sections above the head.. no visible leaks, but there might be where the inlet manifold hides everything, thats where all the oil is anyway, ill pull em off later, but im dying to know if water runs through there, after all, i paid $350 for a licenced 81 soarer, twin cam, so if i can fix it reasonably cheap.. i can use the cash from my old R31 that i sold to my dad, but still use when i like , and the cash from my laser that im using.. for a turbo conversion.. ,mmmm Boost..!
  14. Ive just bought a car with a fkd head gasket.. water in the oil blah blah.. is there a way to clean out all the crap oil? Besides an engine flush? should i put some engine crap in there, and try to start the motor? im not sure if it was really fkd before i got it, so i dont want to seize the pistons up on it by starting it.. would this stuff em up if i ran it for like 10 secs?

  17. Nah, i dont need the whole car done, and im not gonna pay for it I might just get a top half repray, sprayed white, at the moment its 'platinum glow' so a white/silver two tone would look nice. Its just my bonnet and roof that are fkd.

Fkn hell last night was cold, i got up at 4am, walked to my dads place without a jumper, ended up running down there with all the dogs in the neighbourhood going off at me wearing completly black.. i woulda been really pissed off at coppers if i hadve gotten pulled over, sooo sooo cold... im regretting not driving, its 8am, and i gotta walk back now Night cruises rock.. i dont even bother cruising in the day no more.. sux.. unless its a sunday

Eck, ill get the paint myself... they can spray it.. i wonder how hard it would be to get a good finish if the undercoating/prep was done good.. i have access to the tools to do it myself.. just need a big shed or something, and a mask so i dont get high doing it, or do i want to get high? j/k
