looking at investing in a bov but the genuine hks ones are too dear for my liking. theres a few copies on ebay. just wanted to know if anyone's used these before and how much boost can they take? any problems with them if im running about 1 bar?

try young and cool, not sure if there any good. insurance is a killer, you'll be paying close to 4k for full comprehensive.can you drive turbos when you've just gotten your p's in qld?

only the rear quarter panel on the left hand side is getting new paint

its not done yet, shops not open till 15th of january. my rear quarter panel was bumped by a lady coming out of westfields. its not serious, but her insurance companies paying for it so i figure id get it fixed.

car is getting a scratch fixed up on the 15/1/07. dont you hate people who cant drive?

wow that looks pretty good. the xr has bluey purpley lights, i know cause ive got one. thats looks pretty dam close to the xr stockies, but you can see the patches, whereas the xr is an even glow. still looks tops though, good effort

thanks for the replies guys, yea the xr6 turbo is a great little car, and responds to ecu mods like crazy, the gt35/40 helps as well. however usually its only me driving the car and because i do alot of city driving the fuel economy on it isnt as good as id like it to be. if i did highway k's on teh other hand i could probably get close to 600kms out of a tank another reason is im looking at getting into more track work, and a lighter manual seems the way to go, no?

i spent 1050 on the capa edit system and a custom tune done by c&v performance and i ran a 13.0 at wsid on a 22 degree night. bang for buck i dont see anything that comes close. $660 later and its lowered and has a swaybar, and handles extremely well

which do you guys prefer (i know its biased), but im after educated answers as i am after an s15 but am also considering the r34gtt the only thing i see in the r34's advantage is its size. i assume the s15 would have better fuel economy, the interior looks alot nicer, and having never driven an r34 before i assume the s15 is alot easier to drive. the only downside to the s15 in my eyes is how dam small it is, but its a sexy car no? help! p.s what kinda mileage can i expect on an r34 gtt with exhaust and air filter only? thanks in advanced, constructive answers please

just wanted to know how strong the r34 gtt gearboxes are? i know the r33 gearboxes are pretty strong, but how are the gtt manuals? what kinda power/torque is the gearbox capable of taking before it needs a rebuild? thanks, John

thats true. bad luck dude. however i think there must be something wrong there if the first coppa was following you all the way from cabra to bass hill, where the 2nd cop picked you up. they cant follow you that much can they? cabra to bass hill is like a 10 minute drive isnt it?

that is such a good. the main thing im worried about is the spotty look ive seen on some cars. but pointing at each other youd think the light would be more evenly spread out
