U have to got it clear, but dont u have like 14 days to clear it? can u stil be driving? :lol: (maybe) bastard cop, exhaust is NOTHING, U can just get it clear with ur current exhaust, I know a mechanic, If ur in sydney, $110 for a blue slip, dun need to go through the hassle of take it out and put it back in.

Hi all, How can i put it? <_< Plain words ... I had this car in stock form, very quiet, i can hear even a mosquito buzz in the car, then when i had this Cat back Fitted, guess my ears was NOT get used to it. I got annoyed. but now I got used to it, and i kinda like it, adictive maybe, :lol: BUt its LOUD, as silver GTS-t 's advice, hehhaa... MANWHOR3 : Droning is different from LOUD, IMO, I had 300zx b4, got 2.5 twin, it is LoUD ass, but when u drive, it doesnt make that noise like it has with the skyline, its kinda noise like it resonate in ur ears, its hard to descbribe with words, but its way diferent when u experiences it? if any 1 had the same experiences, please help me out, LOL< ( to explain).... well thanks for the helps guys, its LOUD but i can live with it. I duno about Cops tho. I will get a Split dump and a Hi flow Cat in a month or 2, wil it make it louder? heaps? or just a tad? cheers, darrien

Hi, I just fited and HKS Silent Hi power Cat back Exhaust, 3 inches, It not too loud, idling is good, but when give it some gas, the droning is very anoying, i cant imagine going on a long trip with it, does any one know how to eliminate the droning problem? I did search and read some threads, mentioned about adding resonators, can they do that with the exhaust i had? because i fink they will need to cut it and add a resonator to it, COSTLY? any other methods??? thanks heaps, cheers, darrien

Exhaust fitted, nice and fitted great, simple job Thanks for all ur helps guys. very easy, i spray a bit of WD 40 and wait for 20 mins after that, the bolts are easy. took me 60 mins to drive around geting bolts and gasket, and 45 mins to remove the old system and put in the 3 inc . I owned 300zx b4, 89' tt, 2 yrs, only just a radiator hose crack. $35 bucks fixed. and normal maintaining. Ur just bad luck to find a bad example of 300zx, for any cars, the same, if the previous owner didnt look after it, the chances are, U gona get lots of headache and waste lots of money. Same as Skyline, GTR R32 is the same, more then 15 yrs old. spend bit of money to source a good clean example, R33 Gts t is better for ur situation in my opinion, as its newer model, find 1 with low kms, drive its and regular maintaining it should be a sweet ride, no headache. R33 Gts t is lacking in the power department then GTR, but some mods is enough fun, but if ur serious bout speed, GTR is the way. now i got R33 95' i get around 450-500kms for full tanks, very fuel efficen comapre to the ZED. But u cant skip the regular maintaining, it is a MUST for sport car. Hope it helps, cheers, darrien

Hi all, I just got my 2nd exhaust from SAU member, http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...topic=99905&hl= can some 1 tell me wat is the pipe that look similar as a CAT? isit a CAT? or just a odd pipe? wat isit? thanks, and i am thinking of instal it myself, wat is the tool require? such as 6 new bolts, wat kinda bolts to buy? and Do i need exhaust gasket? and wat kind of gasket? and anything else such as silicone, and wat type? i just wana make sure i do it right, can some 1 please give me advices, thank you, cheers, darrien

I tried a full tank of it once, and its not as nice as SHELL ULTIMAX, Only Ultimax Forever ps. I only go to 1 particular shell station, when ever i can. that is how picky i am on fuel.
