    when standing in front of the car looking at the engine Advance = Anticlockwise Retard = Clockwise TPS = Throttle Position Sensor Advanced timing gives more response / smoother accel too much and it will ping

    I've also got a noise similar to that and it gives me the sh!ts The best way to describe it would be a grinding rattle It's loudest when the car is cold and only happens at about 1600-1800 rpm It seems to be in the end of exhaust cam / CAS area can anyone help me ?
