I'm way off from being ready, but now my shed is up (today) ive been planning to build a coil pack test bench just cos i like messing with stuff. I'm a Auto sparky and should still have all my text books from back in the day to test everything thoroughly. I'll set it up as a bit of a torture test adjusting dwell, voltage and plug gaps etc. The original idea being that myself and probably half of everyone on here has a set of coilpacks and doesnt know which one is faulty. hopefully figure out the max dwell times etc for each style to help with tuning and not cooking coils. Was planning to keep it not for profit. just pay for postage and ill send em back with a small report. If this is still raging when i'm ready i'd be happy to test a couple completely unbiased.
