i think im going to splurge a couple of grand on a light set of racey looking wheels before i go a kit. would look odd with a set of 15s, i think. especially with the nissan navara spec suspension they bloody come with.

Ok with most cars there is a lot of things you can do yourself to either tidy up where the factory called it finished, or add on or simply tweak something to get a bit more power from your ride. This is my first turbo car, my first EFI car, and my first AWD car (my last ride was an XF falcon with a 4.7 - yes 4.7L carbied straight six). basically i am still trying to catch up with AFMs (MAF's?), BOVs and boost controllers. A DIY section would be awesome. i know my way around 6 dirty cylinders and a carburettor(built the engine myself), but tips on what to look out for when installying a BOV, boost controller, and after market exhaust specs would be brilliant. With falcons just bolt it on and it works. if something breaks, its $15 from the wreckers to replace. not so with a stagea. got stagea-fright...

saw this on the dolphin site - like the little wheel arch extensions they have. skirts are a bit too swoopy for me, after something a bit sharper, but the front bar and eyelids go ok.

took delivery of mine 2 months ago. 97, 49,000ks, pristine condition - i was a panel beater so i could see where some minor repairs were done, but aside from that - like a new car, inside outside, and engine. cost me 16,500 registered and driving.

maybe its just the wording, but that made no sense to me whatsoever. if the vent sits just after the radiator, the only fluid that could come out is from the radiator, which would be steam anyway (if its hot enough to build up pressure to blow of a pipe) which wouldnt be any more hazardous than wiper fluid, is my argument.

well im not exactly going to be circuit racing and blowing hoses off my car so i have no qualms about throwing a bonnet on with a rearward facing scoop. if the scoop sits after the radiator, before the front of the head, the only stuff that would come out is radiator fluid - which is not going to be much different than using your wiper washers as far as visibility goes. soon as i can GET one, im painting it, its on like donkey kong. and Ska, i agree totally. seen one on an 89 laser. top that - should be a new thread - "crap we've seen wrx scoops on"

mr spencer id love to hear back from you about the price of getting 34 front panels etc for your stagea - after the same thing. mentioned it in the stag parts thread. also if anyone else is just after a front bar - ill be looking for skirts and rear bar, if its cheaper to buy as a kit. depends on how much r34 parts are i guess... if not that kit on the silver stag in the car lot will suffice, so if there is a crate of plastic to soon come from japan, ill throw you some cash if you add it to the list.

mr spencer, r34 front end hey? who is doing that for you? love to do the same thing.not a full front cut, just panels bumper and headlights. have you looked into the costs involved with this? needs custom front guards, right? And a for sale wtb section would be awesome - for organising group buys as well. i thought you were parting out your stag too...

even old SLR TORANAS have rear facing vents. well its a bonnet scoop really, but it faces backwards. need em for those fire breathing v8s but... not really. a definitive answer on this topic would be great - on both what the ADR says, and about how effective/ineffective they are at keeping things cool. i figure if your cruising along slowly or parked in traffic a bit a rearward vent after the radiator would help, but if you are constantly hammering along at warp, maybe a fwd facing one, like the mighty rex has for its lil IC.

i figure as long as the rolling diameter (height) of the tyres themselves is even, then its all good. If the circumference is a bit out, then the front and back tyres woiuld have to spin at different speeds to travel the same distance. i see what you mean... might look into that. maybe you should just throw 225s up front as well. play it safe.

nismo indicators, hey? got a pic of them? would like to see what the clip looks like, im sure it would fit a stag but want to make sure first.
