  6. I wouldn't mind dyno my other day car that only has half as many cylinders
  7. So who took dan's spot? I have got something to go for the lowest hp reading just for fun
  8. I think this might be what you (B1) were after? http://www.eonet.ne.jp/~cappuccino/no.htm That jap person has done lots of DIY stuff on their cappuccino but the plate holder/lights seem to be off the shelf kit?
  9. Only a few pics as I have to leave early... http://japtaxi.sau.fotopic.net/c258552.html
  10. I'm on training this week at sydney so I guess I don't get to take the public holiday
  11. so then it should include: 13. Skyline that had been in the workshop longest in continuous period. me (1yr 4mths, previous record was 9mths)
  12. bunch of dyno queens, I got 90hp at wheels when rb26dett suddenly went to rb26de once
  13. haha not just wheelspin with the rockhard tyres... also got to give credit to grandma gear shift speed..and NFI what I'm doing 2.884 60ft actually.. even my 18.6s 1/4mile golf does faster 60ft than that however at end of that night the time improved to 13.6@112mph :thankyou: (toilet break helps I guess )
  14. My first ever 1/4mile run (almost 3 years ago) in my pos r32+rb26 was 15.121@105mph :thankyou:
  15. it was certainly easier to take pics for r32/s13 around the fuel pump cover as you can shine a light on it without getting too close, so flash is unnecessary. Always keep the area well ventilated.
  16. rb26 sump is cast, heavy, and has front diff casing+bits that you need to chop them off before you can put the engine in (you might as well add baffle plate while you at it). Whether it is legal or not depends on the engineer/your state vehicle mod law. Compare to rb25 sump, it is sheet metal, lighter, easier to chop/weld, add baffle etc etc.
  17. According to GT-R BROS. magazine from MotorMagazineMook... Total of BNR32 made in 1989 is 4,555
  18. Just take lots and lots of pics at different places I guess. Still worth a read of this old article.. http://www.autospeed.com/cms/A_0931/article.html cut'n'paste from the conclusion part: Conclusion There are five major biggies to think about when shooting a car: Location (eg background) Lens focal length (eg wide angle, standard or telephoto) Lighting (soft/harsh, position) Camera angle (high, normal, low) Movement (long shutter sped, flash)
