Since changing to e85 about 10months ago, I've been using the penrite 10 tenths racing 15 15w-50 No issues as a daily driver, change every 4-5000kms

They do oval aswell I'm sure but I went round, the longer the better (more packing inside) my xforce cannon now is 14" long, I'm going for a custom 18" long x 7" round x 3.5" in and out (straight through)

I just ordered my custom rear muffler from Kevin (AES) Cannot wait to have it installed I've here many man good things about them !! Will keep you all posted on my results

Can't give a definite answer but plenty of people using the stock or nismo ones without problems so should be fine

Got a brand new 3.5" (90mm) electronic exhaust valve, after looking for ages I couldn't find a genuine 3.5" valve, the Apexi ones come 80mm as the biggest size ! I got this from the US made by QTP, full billet aluminium 3 bolt flange, comes with cable and toggle switch and waterproof connector Never Used !! Also got a "flange set" which comes with 2x 3 bolt flanges to match the valve, just weld the flanges on the exhaust and slip this in between, bolt it up and away you go ! Asking $200 for everything, I payed a lot more then that not to mention delivery from the US Can send more pics of the unit and flanges if you require Thanks

Looking at the active exhaust muffler site, do they all come with the exhaust valve? Is that how they achieve such a big drop in sound level?

Hey guys, I've got a full custom 3.5" exhaust coming from my precision turbo into a 3.5" decat pipe, into a 3.5" oval mid muffler and exiting through a 3.5" inlet and 4.5" tip cannon.. Now after putting cams in and a bigger single turbo the exhaust note has gotten louder, I want to get rid of the rear cannon and was thinking of afew options If anyone can advise which would be best to quieten it down please let me know So far I looking into a Vibrant street oval muffler which is 3.5" in and out (and painted black which I like) http://vibrantperformance.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=1022_1031_1109 Or considered running a hooker aerochamber, again 3.5" in and out, I can paint it black as I'm not a fan of shiny stainless exhausts http://www.ebay.com.au/bhp/hooker-muffler Would any of these be worthwhile to replace my cannon with?

Hoping the big vibrant oval muffler and with the smaller 3.5" tip instead of a 5" tip should quieten it down abit...
