i first did this with my old gtr when i left the cover off, you need to put washers between the CAS and CAS bracket otherwise it makes contact with the bolts that hold the cam gears on and will grind the shit out of the CAS

I just put on the same tomei cam gears on my 26....definitely doesn't look like that, belt sits bang on in the center of the gears

afew extra parts: stock gtr intake pipes: $80 lower rb26 timing belt cover: $60 RB26 timing belt cover: $100 NGK Laser Platinium spark plugs PFR6A-11 Literaly only used for 2000kms before been changed as they were the wrong heat range for my setup, these are exactly the same model plugs nissan use for the RB26DETT engine, paid around $130 for these - $50 !

You should try find one with a dual solenoid, they hold boost better I've got the blitz dual solenoid SBC I-Colour, does a fantastic job,
