  1. Bump... Sorry I haven't had the chance to get decent pictures of the R33 GTR rims But in the meantime, I'm keen to seperate the rims and tyres of the SE37K's and let go of the rims only for $1.1k Edit: Should have pics of the GTR rims this weekend!
  2. Btw tell em Andrew with the white 180sx recommended you, and I'm sure they'll look after you like they did with me
  3. Ok boys, update... Ran into issues with the a/c where we found out that the a/c compressor sh!t itself... My options where either to repair, replace brand new or second hand. 1. Repair was going to be like $500, 2. Brand new $1k , 3. Sourced my own second hand unit for $100 So anyway, I picked up the compressor on Friday morning which we only found out this morning when the original one was removed to be replaced, it was the wrong one. Needed to go back to the wreckers to exchange for the correct one... Anyway, to cut the long story short... John/Tim from JNK Auto sorted it all out today and has done an excellent job. I am bloody wrapped!!! All up I spent $260 to JNK and $100 on the second hand compressor. I gotta say JNK looked after me pretty well and would recommend them for sure! Unfortunately John wasn't too keen on a "group buy" as in his past experiences, many of the people in the "group buy" ruin it for the others by not turning up. John would prefer a individual case by case like mine. Cheers, Andy
  4. Yeah will do... I'll give him the heads up about doing work for a group of sau members. I'll keep you all posted about the outcome...
  5. Ok guys, doing the whole works including fault testing, full flush, change of receiver dryer, and gass fill... John mentioned that they is not point doing the full works if you don't change the receiver dryer as it acts as a filter. All up if all goes well it'll actually be about the $220 mark!!! The lubricate they'll be using is Wurth Ester Oil with U/V Dye (http://www.wurth.com.au/catalogueview.asp?pdf=A04_0601.pdf). Just done some research and found positive reviews. Better than PAG oil. Will keep you all posted... Cheers, Andy Edit: Ok, now found that POE = POE Polyolester (type of oil for A/C) according to acronyms.thefreedictionary.com, so if I'm not wrong that means the Wurth Ester Oil with U/V Dye is POE which is what level323 recommends. Hope that's the case! Edit #2: Found the MSDS for the Wurth Ester Oil with U/V Dye - http://www.wurth.com.au/msds/1892_764_334.htm
  6. As requested... Yeah I know needed moar low! Nonetheless, they are already off the car!
  7. Hi Guys, I just found some pics of the SE37K rims... Note: You may notice a pair is reppin RE001's, but they are now 595SS 215/40R17's. Will post up ones of the R33 GTR hopefully tonight! Sorry guys no swaps, unless you have TE37 rims in a 17x9JJ+15 or 17x9.5JJ+12 ^_^ Cheers, Andy
  8. Hi All, I'm in the market for a new set of rims which I've just located, but I need to sell up the two sets I currently have in order to fund the new one As such, I have a set of R33 GTR rims (17x9JJ+30) in very good condition. Only the rears have slight gutter rashing (one rim about 8cm and the other rim about 4cm). All have centre caps and the condition of the set would be considered one of the better ones going around for the age they are. These will also come with a set of 4 month old 25mm JIS Japanese forged alloy bolt on spacers. Effectively making the offset +5. Unfortunately this set doesn't include any rubber. I'm after $1250 picked up. Second set of rims are the Rays SE37K (17x9.5JJ+12). These are in immaculate condition as I have got them repaired and powder coated only about 4-5months ago. These are the Takata green ones. They include 215/40R17 Federal 595SS with 90% rubber up front and 235/45R17 Federal 595SS with about 80% rubber on the rears. The set comes with genuine Rays valve stems and caps. I'm looking for about $1400 picked up for this set. Note: Pictures to follow very shortly! Cheers, Andy
  9. It's funny you say that... I did the opposite to that, went from Motul 300V Chrono 10w-40 to Martini Sint10 10w-40 in my SR20DET 180sx and seemed to me that I got more km's running more responsive and more smooth. Martini is less than half the price, although is always harder to get (i.e. I've needed to get it from the actually office located in Rowville). Cheers, Andy
  10. I'm very interested located in Vic 3151. Can you confirm the offset on these TE37's, as I don't believe they ever made them in +15 (correct me if I'm wrong). Any additional pictures? How much do you think it'll be for freight? Cheers, Andy Edit: Actually I was wrong... They do do +15 in 9JJ
  11. Bloody hell those guys are thorough!!! How much does it cost for a check? Cheers, Andy
  12. As stated in an earlier post (although in 2008 lol), JNK Auto does HyChill... I just called them up now and spoke to Tim. What a champ, he spent like 20mins chatting to me about it explaining it all. Good thing was he was honest and said he is still acquiring his licence to do ac gassing and he doesn't personally do it, his boss does (John). Shows to me he's pretty clued up even though he doesn't personally do it. Anyway, I'm book in for next week. Their contact number is 9873 2622, located in Mitcham. Cheers, Andy Edit: Quoted $132 GST inclusive for the full works (i.e. full flush, lube and dye, and recharge etc.).
  13. Ok found what I needed... The "clear coat" is actually an epoxy resin for anyone that wants to know for future references. Cheers, Andy
  14. ^ No one is able to assist?
  15. Bump, up she goes... Where can I get an good quality UV resistant clear coat in an aerosal guys? I'm going to try do some repair work myself and sand back the clear coat. I'll need to re-coat the clear and hoping to get something that won't turn yellow and discolour after this summer Cheers, Andy
  16. Hey mate, FYI that's not a Brix II... I believe it's a Brix I. Also food for thought, the 1.5 is pretty much the same as yours pictured but has the Bride logo on the head rest... Cheers, Andy
  17. Thanks mate... If you can hang on to these for me until Saturday that would be awesome! I'll call beforehand... Cheers, Andy Edit: If you need a deposit please let me know...
  18. Prices on 4x 215/40R17 shipped to Vic 3151 please? Cheers, Andy
  19. 1. Bride Brix 1.5 Seats with Genuine Bride Rails to suit Silvia/S13/14/15 -(Rails N050,N045) $1200 Damn that's blo0dy cheap!!! Are the rails both drivers and passenger? I'm keen to pick up if available? Cheers, Andy

  22. Ok I've been doing a bit of reading regarding the Power FC Pro in the last hour as I possibly can get my hands on a second hand one (including controller)... It's for the 98.6~ RPS13 (180sx Type X). Now there's a bit of concern going around as to whether ones people have received are legit Pro or not... Only way to tell is to turn on the PFC and check the start up to see if the text reads PRO (e.g. SR20DET1PRO or similar), or open the ecu and see if there's a sticker on the NEC chip with the word PRO on it... As the guy is from Sydney and I'm in Melb, I can't do those things... I'm hoping to clear a few queries I have: 1. Is there certain serial numbers for the PRO to tell them apart from other PFC versions? (for both ecu and hand controller) 2. Does the hand controller have to be a Pro version to suit the Pro ecu or all hand controllers can be used with all versions of the ecu as long as they are in the same generation? 3. Do the boxes and manual of the Pro differ to the standard Ljetro version (normal version)? I ask cos I have the standard PFC and would like to keep the boxes and manual for referencing the Pro, but if they do differ I'll include them in the sale of the normal when I sell it to get the Pro Thanks in advance!!! Cheers, Andy
  23. ^ No worries champ you do have fair points... I did get a bit defensive cos I hate low ballers and I interpreted your post as if you were calling me one. Anyway, back to the original post again. Awaiting response Cheers, Andy
  24. Mate before you try look all hero with your number crunching... Try having a look at recent "PRIVATE for sale" threads 1. Jarrod isn't selling on behalf of a shop. It's privately owned. 2. Shops are always more expensive then privately owned. Overheads etc. etc. 3. These GTR33 rims can be sourced locally and do not need to come in from Japan. There have been plenty going around. 4. Research recent "PRIVATE for sale" threads. Oh geez, I've already mentioned that... I can go on but I hope you get my point. It's funny that so many people try substantiate the prices with the "Japanese dollar vs. Aussie dollar" now when it's irrelevant. Anyway, don't want to go in the wrong direction of this "PRIVATE for sale" thread, but yeah just thought an explaination was required. I'm still deadset keen by the way Cheers, Andy
