  1. +1 for me too. but we need to stop chatting about this car. There seems to be a few guys chasing R34 GTR's and this thread has got alot of information. maybe a mod can clean this thread up and we can get back on topic.

  4. Only in the last few weeks. It was passed in, so keep your eyes out for it to come up again.. its well in my price range, i will be very keen if it comes up again.
  5. I too am hunting down a new GTR, here's one that was passed in. last bid 4.15 million yen I'm chasing either a modified 34 GTR or a very low Kms V Spec II Nur or M Spec Nur in Millenium Jade or Gold...

Yes, All parts we produce are made from prepregs, Carbon's,Arimids and some smaller glass parts. all parts are made on Invar tooling with silicone bags witch are then cured in autoclaves.The panels range from small angles 5cm x5cm up to skins that are 5m x 2m. Jason is working in some dodgy fibreglass shop, because he burnt his bridges ripping everyone off, including myself and people on this forum..
  9. I'm Noy. I have an extensive background in all composites. inc a diploma of polymer engineering(composites). may not mean alot to some but thats what it is. Yes i worked at Custom Carbon and yes i had a heavily C/F'd R33 GTR, All parts were produced in house using aerospace grade materials. Currently i am production manager of an Aerospace company, we produce all carbon fibre/ aramid panels for military helicopters ARH TIGER, MRH90 and SUPER PUMA. if you aren't familiar with them google and have a look. The only reason i commented in the first place is because aswell as my normal job i also run a small business where i produce carbon parts for Drag,Curcuit and Drift cars. All parts i produce at home are wet layup and i have taken panels to work to test and with very surprising results. I can produce parts wet layup that have tested stronger than that of dry layup using same material and orientation. I didn't mean to try steal your thread nor to flame you. just provide people with some useful information.   11. Firstly i'm not here to flame.. you make alot comments in regards with dry layup as compared to wet layups.do you have any test results to back up your comments? And you speak up said companydo you work for them?

  13. Threads like this make me laugh... good luck with your carbon fibre parts from said company... my question: How much do you know about carbon fibre? or producing carbon fibre parts? not including the crap other people tell you..

Hey Col i'm good mate, after being out of australia most of last year.. i'm finaly back well i can offer a few things that i know for QLD.. i have only spoken with police officers here in QLD so other states may have other more defined laws... Carbon Fibre/Fibreglass bonnets are illegal unless they have an engineers certificate.. there is many places they can be engineered but the cost is ridiculous. you would need to provide all manufacturing processes, engineering reports and so much other paperwork i wont go into and also a number of samples that need a whole variety of tests done to them.. As for company's saying they can provide ADR approval certificates with there products i just laugh, but so can anyone with a computer... i can print out a story with lots of important looking words that only an engineer would understand... With Carbon Fibre IT DOES shatter just like fibreglass, people saying it would cut a pedestrian in half etc etc it could, but until i see it i say stop watching too many horror movies. About bonnets with reverse facing vents, the police just think of the worst.. if you have something fail under the bonnet and it squirts oil or fluid on your windscreen it could cause an accident. Biggest load of crap i've ever heard...... the Owner of Custom Carbon done a runner to another fibreglass company in brisbane.. along with alot of peoples money and more than 12k of mine If anyone wants to try get there money back they can contact me and i can pass on some details that can help... cheers Noy

  24. yeah i got sick of cleaning those white TE37's. the wheels on Ants 33 look good.. bronze or a dark colour would suit the midnight purple too.
  25. there is a 33 GTR that goes to allstar a bit, with 18x11 enkei rims on fit under the guards nice.. not sure on offset though..
