1. mr_cust - thanks for that. very helpful
2. hey sarahB, that was the decent response i was expecting when i asked a straight-fwd innocent question. "You'll never get it right if you've never asked or wronged. "
3. yep -Biasa is just "Biasa" outside Australia.
4. guys, was wondering-how bad would it be to have the line parked in the drive in for say 3 hrs?i mean, aside from the exhaust, do your lines eat a lotta fuel idling there?? i used to take my old shit box over but with the line, i am not sure...
5. mate, i think you've got too much time on yer hands.
6. well put it this way too. The Vtir has the potential of taking in the B18c7 engine which is the integra dc2 type r's. having said that you can throw in a rb26dett into ur gts-t but then again, a lot of trouble and parts must follow
7. dude do you have a m spec lip? if so, and if u do find a replacement lip, consider selling me ur m-spec lip?
8. no. the VTir would beat the gts-t in handling but then again, they are different sort of cars. Once's the lil' brother of a legendary japanese muscle car whilst another is the new generation of economical and good handling sort
9. dude, would R33s have traction control as an option???
10. i used to run the whole car with 32 psi but of the last 2 months i put 39 psi up front and 34.5psi rear. tonite, i have put 32 psi on the rear and 34 psi up front. Went back to that god damned roundabt and in fact floored the car there. Nothing... slight conclusion to those following this thread 2 factors : could have been either air pressure on tyres OR just the bloody road/roundabout was plain slippery when wet(drizzling).
11. yep... hehe then again, i must say the lines are a far more advanced engine type for their age(r33) compared even to my B-series VTEC screamer. I mean, yeah, the lines have more torque and more upgrades. With VTEC,well, yeah, only so much u can do.
12. u got that half right. I have a civic VTIR. The line's my bro's baby whom i'm baby sittin' til he comes back from overseas. cheers, mate
13. what's pineapples doiing in a skyline? LOL. Seriously, what are they?
14. errr all i see are these VTEC comical stuff there.
15. they are like 2 yrs old i believe. Bought em' off a mate. Do you think tyre shops(like bob jane)would be able to tell the condition of tyres? I'm in melbourne cBD these 2 weeks. thanks!
16. yep the car is not lowered. well so far it happened on 1 roundabout cause i didn't want to try it again on another... damnnnn start Saving for a GTR.what do u think? Attesa kicks in and it is all sweet!
17. well, her rpm was below the 2800rpm mark. In fact around early 2000s only ... and this is a stockie skyline. Hence, the turbo doesn't come into play at all...that's why i'm just a bit annoyed at. I fear something is wrong and want to get it fixed but dont know what. The RE01 tyres should be alright unless someone else has issues with it.
18. true true but how about the front? your engine will be heavier hence it will press down on the tyres. Should the front tyres be slightly more?
19. oh good. it's just the nature of the car(r33) then?
20. hmmmm yeah but when you slow down, the revs are too low for 3rd gear... if this is part and parcel of the RWD turbo behaviour then it's fine. I am into learning it.
21. yeah mediocre tight... almost needs u to full lock the damn car cause the car is big...
22. nope... she was like 3000rpm - that's why i am getting annoyed.. I mean, i am just granny driving it in the wet (drizzle) and it just f**ks up likethat. i wantto find out whats wrong or sell the f**king thing.
23. dude have you got ur car repaired then???
24. dude i will try that as i recall the skylines are to run higher pressure on front tyres because of the engine putting more weight on the car... any thoughts?
