hi guys, how many of you use the aftermarket ECUs around? If so, what make? i dont' mind the fuel going when i drive the car for performance but when i'm normally driving and it eats a fair bit, that's when i m not happy.My mechnanic tells me that it;s best to use a HALTECH Sv6 as it'll optimise the fuel maps based on my driving(ie i get to choose differing fuel maps when i drive). No flaming but guys, what's your word on aftermarket ECUs in terms of daily driver consumption? oh,yeah, errr.. where is the ECU located in the R33 gTS-t series 2? Thanks!!

guys saw this turboxs dtec which i was caught by the use of the gameboy advance. has anyone used it? yeah, i heard the thing allows you to tune your fuel mixture or something... if anyone's used it, can you please share something in terms of price and value for money??thanks!

guys, i was driving the line today (r33 gts-t series 2) and when i floored her, i noticed the factory boost needle never hit the "+7" psi mark . The car has never been turned up on boost . Just left as stock. Is that normal ?? thanks

hi, what you say makes sense but in this case in australia,I think most skyliners are using Optimax and that's only 98ron.. I think it's 101 in japan(i could be wrong though). And as for the new fuel made by shell which has a bit of ethanol (but has high octane rating),i'm trying to see if it makes sense to safely use optimax + octane boosters. what are your thoughts? thanks rob

guys, i noticed my car's alignment is out as on a straight road, it tends to go to the left. i know an alignment needs to be done but how abt wheel balancing? i'm sorry but what is done during wheel balancing? i dont know how wheel balancing is related to alignment. sorry for the noobie question. thanks!

guys i use optimax but i heard good things about Vortex in Caltex from my mates in Syd. Weird thing is that i went around melb, and the "vortex" label doesn't have a 98 in it. Can you guys please post where are the proper Caltex stations in Melbourne for skylines and also,the type of vortex (ie. vortex premium,vortex 98,vortex and etc)??? I get so confused cause there are vortex premium,vortex 98,vortex in Caltex. I went into the shop and asked the dude in charge but he says he wasn't sure.. HELP! thanks!
