guys for some weird reason , i dismantled the back seats again and moved the wires. So far, i can push the volume to 16 and no issues(touch wood)... i was suspecting the "Gain" on the amp like one of you guys suggested but it's now workin'. "If it ain't broken,don't fix it!".... thank you ,everyone!!

Well, the problem is that once you do an engine clean, it all goes off.... sigh:(

guys, you are going to laugh at this Anyway, I was replacing my bulb which blew and the bulb snapped off and fell back into the low beam area of my front lamp. Have a look at the picture. See the thing in red? that's the old bulb.. It's fallen into the enclosure. Seriously,Does anyone know how to take that broken bulb out of that area? ta!

Randy! that's is the exact setup i have!! My fronts are running off HU . For me i think your protect mode thought is true because when i put a little more volume, it cuts out on and off in the rear which is runned by the amp. Weird is that when the car is stationary it is fine but when i m driving on flat ground and i increase the volume, the cut outs happen!! Oh man!! i hate this! where did you learn of this "protect mode"? Did ur amp have it?

guys, my car has been complianced in aug 2005. It's just a miserable pink thin sheet of metal (with the Australian government words and stuff). I noticed other imports complied way earlier had a strong/hard metal plate but this one looks like a new format or something. Does anyone else have a compliance plate that is also so simple??

hey crimpage, yeah, i didn;t seem to find any indicator on the amp(Alpine V220) but yeah, very strangely, when i put my volume above 13, it seems to cause this problem when i go on bumps but when playing on volumes below 13,it is ok. Weird thing is that sometimes, playing on volume 13 and above is fine!! Darn.. i am out of ideas...

heya,guys!! Have a problem for which sometimes, the rear speakers disactivate and after a random amount of time, it comes back to operation. i took the rear seats off and got this diagram.... Question I don't know where the green line connects to (labelled "sr1" or the crossover on sr1). I found the connections from the AMP to the Crossovers are ok. I only suspect the negative terminal of bridge 2(there are 2 bridges) being a bit loose. here is a diagram. I took the backseats off during the weekend where it was 43 deg celc cause i can't stand this!!! what else should I check? i suspect it's now the 1. connections on my amp ,OR 2. connections on the head unit HELP!!!

hello,there I am sorry that I don't know any mechanical stuff but i am having squeeling noises from what i suspect to be the fan belts. This is because this happened as soon as I had the fan belts changed last week. can anyone kindly post photos or diagrams of where the related bolts are to be tightened? thank you,everyone.

hey guys,i have just sent my R33 to change her fan belts. Now, each time I start the car, there is a mildly loud squeking sound from the engine... is that anything to be concerned of?

hey guys i heard some loud squeking coming from my driver's side seat belt. I think it is just that the seat belt mechanism thing is just low on grease/oil. I want to spray some lubricating oil on it(like WD40) but guys, how do I open up the plastic covering the seat belt mechanism? I know there is a screw right behind the seat belt-is that the only thing that I need to take off to uninstall the whole plastic covering? thank you!

hey guys does anybody know where i can buy,and which volume of Option or Best Motoring I should watch to see the R33 in action? i can't seem to find any because the ones ii have or buy are new volumes. also,can anyone tell me if the guys in Option JDM or Best motoring ever driven any GTS-T? i know the GTR gets the spotlights but how abt the lil brothers? thank you all Rob :lol:
