Hey thanks alot mate... I dropped the PFC off yesterday to Automotive Service Solutions who specialise in fixing ECU's, they said they would give me a call over the next few days to say weather it can be fixed or not so ill keep everyone updated once I find out.

Ah yeah I forgot R33s had R&R from the stock ECU, but if it does turn out to be coilpacks I had the same problem on my R32 and instead of spending $600 on SplitFires I bought a $11 industrial grade hi temp proof silicone from Bunnings and covered them up in it and havent had one missfire since and I run 18psi

Sounds a lot like a missfire could be due to coilpacks breaking down or spark plugs needing a change or gapping down as the extra boost blows the spark out, common as hell in Skylines.

Haha nah not yet im taking it to get looked at tomorrow arvo so keep your fingers crossed for me.

Hey mate thanks for the suggestion but I have tried the PFC on a mates R32 and it doesnt power up on his at all either so its definately the PFC. And cheers for that link Cubes ill contact them soon.

Haha Cubes you did the same thing did you?? Yeah after closer inspection I discovered the the 75amp fuse was blown managed to pick one up from Repco for $11. Now I will look into getting it repaired I hope it isnt too far fried beyond repair, does anyone know where I can get this ECU pinout so I can take it to an electronics shop with me?

Well guys.... I opened the PFC up when I got home from work just then and was greeted by the extremly stong smell of burnt out electrics, so my worst fears have come to be, while I cant actually see anything on it burnt it has the very distinct smell of when electronics are fried. Is it possible to have these things fixed does anyone know of anybody in the Sydney area that can fix them? If not what are my other options I cant go back to stock ecu as I have aftermarket turbo, injectors, z32 afm etc etc. Thanks

I tried another battery too and still didnt start cheers for the input so far guys if anyone else has any suggestions please tell me

Nah mate could never hear it turn on before it stuffed up. I really hope the PFC isnt fried because its next to impossible to source one for a RB20 now and I dont have that kind of money

Nah car didnt start at all or go to start at all just cranked, I have no idea if I have injector pulse how do I check that? thanks

Ive checked the fuses 3 times now, chucked the stock ECU in then and still same thing car cranks but wont start, but I have Z32 AFM, GTR Injectors and Resistor pack etc so the car wouldnt start with the stock ECU anyway would it?

Hey guys tonight while re connecting my battery in a moment of sheer idiocy I connected the battery terminals around the wrong way and BOOM huge sparks from the battery, I immediatly realised what I did and checked all fuses in the fuse box under bonnet and all under the dash on the drivers side, they were all fine, now when I try start the car it just cranks and nothing else, the hand controller on the Power FC doesnt light up or anything Did I fry the PFC or is their something else I should look into ? Cheers guys really need help on this

Hey guys this is just an expression of interest for now as ive lost my licence for 6 months as of tonight and not sure weather its worth to keep my car or not, anyway heres the rundown R32 RB20DET 105000km Manual April 08 Rego Apexi Power FC with hand controller 3 Inch turbo back exhaust with Apexi muffler GCG High Flow Turbo All new manifold studs put in when turbo was upgraded GTR injectors GTR front mount Blitz pod filter Z32 AFM Bosch 040 Fuel Pump Apexi Power Fc tuned by Jim at CRD TEIN Coilovers HKS adjustable wastegate actuator RECARO seats, not sure if their copies or not Greddy boost gauge Blitz turbo timer Turbosmart Bleed Valve Clarion deck, ,Infinity Splits in front, pioneer 6 inches in rear, 12 inch clarion sub in boot and 2 amps 213.2rwkw at 18psi on Unigroup dyno I look after this car very well and change the oil and filter every 5000 with fully synthetic oil, the timing belt and ALL fluids were changed mid last year, I dont want to sell this car as ive put so much into it but theirs no point in it sitting their for 6 months doing nothing, might as well sell now and try upgrade to a GTR when my licence comes back Im after $14000 for it FIRM, as in not negotiable sorry, ive easily spent about 8k+ on it so far. Please reply here if you are genuinely interested and have the cash and if theirs enough interest I will think about what I want to do for sure and let you guys know.
