  1. Alright mate cheers ill see if I can get the cooler off tomorrow and clean all the oil out and see if it comes back.

Hi guys, today when I was just having a general look in my engine bay I noticed that one of the rubber hoses coming off my bleed valve was melted to the turbo and had a massive hole in it, the car seemed to drive fine on the way to work this morning and was boosting and holding boost fine so im not sure what this melted hose could of done but I replaced it anyway. Now anyway as I looked around the engine bay a bit more I noticed their was oil in the vent bits of the BOV (aftermarket Apex'i bov) I then noticed that their was a lot of oil leaking out of one of the intercooler pipes at the bottom of the cooler, this oil is MUCH blacker then the oil thats on the dipstick. I wiped all this oil off and took the car for a short drive and everything seemed fine it wasnt blowing any smoke at all or anything but when I got the car back I had another look and their was more oil leaking out of the bottom intercooler pipe joint bit. Anyone have any idea what this could be from? Car is a 1993 RB20DET R32 GTST Power FC Bleed Valve, 14psi GTR Front Mount Turbo Back Exhaust Thanks guys!
  3. Mate from what I can see you have a R32 Gtst so im guessing you have a RB20DET, if so expect to pay more like $1500 for a FC with a hand controller as you have to get an AP Engineering one,
  4. Gday guys I have a R32 GTST with RB20DET, Mods are: Power FC, 3 inch turbo back exhaust, bleed valve set to 15psi, Apex BOV. Ive been having a problem for a while that ive been led to believe is caused by the AFM, now what happens is sometimes usually around 3k rpm the car will start to cough and splutter then it will either go away or just stall and take a while to start again, it can be fine for days then play up constantly for one or 2 days. I had a PFC installed the other day and I thought id watch the airflow levels on the hand controller to see if they changed at all when the car was stuffing up but they stayed pretty much the same with no drastic drops or rises in the level of air flow. What im trying to find out is that is it possible that it could still be the AFM causing this as I thought the air flow readout levels would be going haywire when the car was spluttering and stalling due to the AFM sending incorrect readout.   6. Spotted a purple R32 with no wing and white rims on the Great Western Highway in St Marys/Colyton area, had a run with him and it smashed me, gave thumbs up and got it back once I caught up to him, you on here dude nice car whats done to it?
  7. Spotted a black r33 gtst with massive dinner plate chromies and the typical "for sale" on the back window on the great western highway in st marys full of lebbos staring at me so i gave them a wave and got a finger and a mouthful of abuse back, plates ATL - 5** if your on here your a tool.

Im a manager at a self serve carwash and ive been using the brushes in the bays for over 2 years now and they have never scratched any of the cars I own, if your sensible about it and give the brush a good blast with the high pressure hose before you use it I dont see why you would have any dramas.
  9. Carewash Mt Druitt... on Luxford road.... Its a self serve carwash (manual bays) so no one actually washes the cars for you but if anyone from SAU comes on a Sunday - Thursday ill be working and let me know and ill look after you.
  10. I work at a carwash and the best chamois I have used so far is a Meguiars Microfibre one it works really well I think its about $18 from Supercheap and Autobarn etc. Most leather chamois are crap they stick to the car and its impossible to use them.

  12. Hey guys car drove fine all day today then tonight the problems all came back again so im stumped as to what the problem is.
  13. Hi guys been having problem with my R32 GTST lately, just some info on it first, stock turbo, gtr front mount, turbosmart bleed valve, pod filter, 3 inch turbo back exhaust, apexi bov. The problem im having is very intermittent sometimes I can drive with no problems for a whole day ,ive only noticed it happening when the cars warm but sometimes when im around 2000rpm in any gear the car just loses all power, I can put my foot flat to the floor and nothing will happen and then all of a sudden it will jump to 3000rpm then no higher, sometimes after this happens I wait a few seconds then its fine other times it will then stall, when I try to restart the car it is very hard to start and needs me to rev it as its cranking over, sometimes once its restarted it will work fine again and sometimes the whole process will repeat itself, it can happen any time even while cruising along in say 4th the revs will just get stuck around 3k. Ive also noticed since this problem started the car is idling quite low sometimes around 400rpm. Any suggestions what it could be as its doing my head in, thanks guys.
