  1. I tried to put the boss kit I used on my old S13 and it didnt match up to the R32 at all so I had to buy one specifically made for the R32 with HICAS, Autobarn got it in for me cost about $80 from memory.

  3. Most people go with a HKS 2530 (200 - 230 RWKW) You could get GCG to hi flow your stock turbo that will set you back about $2000 and give you a bit more power then the 2530, I have a hi flow waiting to go on I just need money haha.
  4. I have the exact same BOV as you mate and ive moved the band around thinking it would change the sound but I cant notice any difference at all no matter what setting its on

Ive noticed over the past few months that about once every say 2 weeks instead of my BOV going off I get massive amounts of flutter, I have an aftermarket Apexi BOV and usually it goes off all the time and I get next to no flutter but on some occasions for about an hour or so it wont go off and I just get massive flutter, the car still runs the exact same performance wise when this happens but I just wanted to know whats going on? I also have a pod filter and front mount if that contributes to this at all, turbo is stock with 14psi. Cheers guys.
  6. Just thought id update everyone and let you know that it was the switch that caused this problem I picked up another one for $50 second hand from SSS Automotive and put it in just then, took about 45 mins all up Cheers for the input guys
  7. Im chasing the stock stickers on the boot of R32s that say "nissan" and "gtst" as mine are quite worn and id like to replace them with new ones, does anyone know where I can purchase these from and how much theyd set me back? Thanks guys

Gday guys, Im having a strange problem with my left hand headlight on my R32 it used to work all the time and has slowly gotten worse, at first it wouldnt come on just the right one would and a simple tap of the dash or turning the lights off then on again would fix it this gradually turned to a big hit on the dash to get it to come on then multiple hits on the dash now I have to beat the shit out of it for about 30 secs to get it to turn on, Once its on if I turn it off it wont come back on again unless I repeat the process, Ive checked all fuses, replaced the globe several times and even tried another indicator stalk unit to see if that was the problem. Im thinking its probaly just a simple loose wire but I cant understand that when it comes on if I turn it off then back on 2 seconds later I have to repeat the hitting the dash process, Any one else have some insight for me before I book it into an auto electrcian? :sorcerer:
  10. Spotted a few 32s and 33s running at WSID tonight but one that stood out to me was a black 32 GTST with the plate RBGUN what an absolute machine does anyone know if hes on here? I wanna know if hes still running an RB20 or not and what turbo he has.
  11. I went their once to inquire about rims and I tell you what their the rudest bunch of arrogant cops ive dealt with in my life, their rudeness cost them a sale. I would never consider dealing with these guys.

  15. Got another second hand 32 box put in guys, seems rough like the old box tho 2nd gear is quite notchy when putting it in was told its probaly the actual gear shifter thats making it seem rough does this seem right?
  16. Spotted a white 32 or 33 at St Clair Maccas the other day (cant remember what it was) got a wave from you I waved back but dont know if you saw me coz I had gone past you by this time.

We have this stuff at work called Acid Klene its about $200 for a 20L drum and I just spray this straight onto my rims then rinse off with the high pressure hose and they look brand new gets rid of ALL the brake dust, its amazing how well it works, have used it on many friends cars and their shocked with how well it works, im not sure if its available through any shops though? We get it through a company called Jasol, I guarentee this would work just be careful if you manage to get a hold of it because if you breathe the fumes from it in you will get high as a mofo.

Het guys im after a R32 RB20DET manual gearbox in perfect working order (must go into gears easily no grinding etc) and a slave cylinder if possible (but not neccessary) Im located in Sydney so it will have to be someone in Sydney so I can pick it up, looking at buying one asap, PM me or reply in this thread with info if you have one, cheers
  20. Yeah guys the gearbox was rooted as expected got it taken out today so need one asap if anyone has a RB20DET box in Sydney thats in perfect working order pm me please need one ASAP or I cant get to work
  21. What is required other then the RB25 gearbox itself to do the conversion? Any idea how much all the parts needed for this go for? cheers

  23. Damn thats no good looks like ill have to sell my new turbo I bought to fix this as ive got no money how much do RB20 gearboxes go for these days? Thanks for your input by the way guys
  24. Hmm hopefully thats what it is mate I just replaced the clutch with a heavy duty one 2 months ago though so not sure why it would of caused this. Yeah it does seem to go away if you put the clutch in and its idling but when I was babying it home whenever I put the clutch in as the car was going along it would still do it but I guess the gearbox would still have things moving if the cars moving right?

Hey guys, Driving home tonight gave it a squirt in first put it into second, full throttle and then when it came onto full boost I hear BANG and the whole car jerks and theirs a massive rattle sound coming from the gearbox, I quickly pulled over and turned the car off had a look underneath to see if anything was fallen off or anything but coudlnt see anything out of the ordinary, got back in the car started it, MASSIVE rattling sound coming from the gearbox on idle even when the car was in neutral, car very hard to get into gear, took off in first took off very hard just that massive constant rattle, everytime I tried to put it into second I just get a massive bang and the whole car jerks and it wont go in so I managed to baby the car home in 3rd (with that loud rattling noise still going constantly seems to ease up a bit when the clutch it put all the way in and the car is idling) Ive booked a tow for the morning to get the car to a workshop but does it seem like the gearbox is gone? Why do these things happen at the worst times was just preparing to put my new turbo on and fix some other things on the car
