Hey nice write up been looking for one like this. Quick question for the pro's, I wanna use some alloy pineapples does that mean i just slide them over my stock cradle bushes? Or do i have to remove the whole stock bush? Cheers Davo.

It seems to rev fine, bounces on limiter nicely and doesnt miss a beat. looks like it mite actually slide propley 2moz at QR. Thanks everyone for ya feedback.

The reason i used a Q45 TB is becasue i dont have enough time to make a adaptor plate and it bolts stright up to a greddy plenum. I'll be chucking in a PFC within 2 weeks but the reason i ask if a stock ecu will work is because i plan on taking my car on track without engine failure. The Q45 is a massive TB and i just thought it would b easyer chucking it on whilst i did my inlet manifold but there isnt really a need for it. but thanks everyone for ya input i'll let u know how it skids when i finish my cooler piping.

Hey all just wondering if a Q45 throttle body will work on a RB25 with a greddy plenum and a stock ecu? (i've already wired up tps etc) Will it effect fuel maps on high load dude to the greater flow of air? or will it last one night of skidding at QR? any advise would help heaps cheers Davo.

Cheers Rezlo. nengun prices are really cheap atm so i'm thinking bout geting my Djetro unit soon. So the R33 GTR Djetro unit plugs stright into my RB25 loom? And the only extra gear i have to order is 1xMAP sensor, 1x Air Intake Temp sensor, Sumthing to control my VCT and can u use the Apexi Boost control solonide through the exsisting wireing of the standard boost control solonoide? cheers Davo

Yer your right it does. I just did a quick readup on it n it sounds freakn awsum. The only thing i couldnt find was a price for the unit, anyone know what it costs for the unit? (most of the dealers say call for price so it sounds scary). Also does it use the stock knock sensor as a input?

Power FC's FTW there a awsum unit but AFM's are a pain. Is it possible to mod a GTR loom for a RB25 or get a DeJetro working on a 25 at all? Has anyone done this before and is it even possible? Oh and plz dont say go microtech. cheers Davo

Do Power FC's work on both Series one and Series 2 setups or do u kneed a different one for each?

Oh and if its knocking hope u havent done a bigend, tapping could b lifters or zorst manifold leak, ping/detonation sounds like a tin can of marbles in a paint mixing machine lol.

Get a hand controller for ya PFC if u dont already have one. Then have a look at your knock levels (OVER 60 and your engine will hate u) then have a look at your injector duty cycle (should never go past 90% for safety) mine was at 86% on 1 bar stock turbo and mad 285 RWHP. Ask your tuner to give u a quick heads up on stuff to look at. Hope that helps.

Power FC's FTW. But if u dont have 1k laying in ya wallet its good to get ya standard ecu running 100%. I have the exact same problem wif a series 2 25 in a cef. I've regaped plugs to .8mm, taped up all coil packs, made sure i had fuel. And it still breaks down at 4-5k making no power and wont rev any further. I'm using a RB20 actuator and not seeing more then 7psi. The only freakn thing i can think off is maybe my AFM is dieing slowly so i'm gonna try n borrow a mates 2moz and hopfully that helps. btw do RB25 afms fail often?
