ooooooooooooh!!!!! I wana be the first one to post the newbie smilies in this thread! :newbie:  Welcome aboard Claire, and if you ever get the opportunity to come to Aus, then I'm sure we won't have trouble finding someone to show you around.....
  3. IF YOU KEEP TYPING IN ALL CAPS EVERYONES GOING TO THINK YOU'RE REALLY ANGRY AND THEY WON'T TURN UP! :bahaha:
  4. The gts-x only came in coupe version There are a few gts-x's for sale in Melb at the moment, but if you want something really special, go for the gts-r thats for sale.. It has EVERYTHING!:uh-huh: Pics here: click here to see some pics There is also a Passage for sale in the for sale section of the R31 forums if you want to have a look at it, http://www.r31skylineclub.com/cgi-bin/yabb...;num=1035472701 Happy R31 hunting!
  5. I think it generates a new one when it gets to 1000, because my name isn't there anymore, and I certainly signed, and all the names that are at the start of it are different to what they were. :uh-huh:
  6. Most good hobby shops sell Skylines, from R31 through to R34 in 1/24 scale, and bigger. You can buy the R34 TOMMI charg-e from places like K-mart and Big-W for around $50. :uh-huh:
  7. Due to a select few trying to spoil cruises for everyone, we implemented a cruise 'code of conduct' for people attending R31 cruises. It took a long time to write, and seems to cover most situations. So far, nobody has complained about it, and it works well. This is a copy of it.
  8. If it was a 31 I'd be saying its lifter noise.... but if it only happens on start up, then it's probably a similar problem... things kinda clunk around until they get oil on them.

If it was a report by the police, then it should say where your car was when it was witnessed making all this noise. If it was a report by a disgruntled neighbour, then you just have to live with it, or find some way of exacting revenge
  10. TUFR33 if you go and visit the 'Victoria' section of the forums, you'll find us all hiding in there... Come along to one of our meets/cruises and say hi
  11. The Skylines came away with 2 prizes today. This one won Japans finest, and this was runner up....
  12. OK guys, I know it's short notice, but if anyone is bored tomorrow and wants to go for a drive, Whittlesea are having their annual swap show and shine. As always, the swap meet is likely to be mostly Ford and Holden stuff, but you never know what you will find. The R31 Skyline club will be having a display, and if anyone wants to come along to check things out, or to enter their cars in the show'n'shine, then you're more than welcome to come along. Details: The show is open to the public between 9am-5pm at Whittlesea Showgrounds, Yea Rd, Whittlesea. For all motoring enthusiasts, this show includes cars, bikes and boats. A unique day out for the whole family. In support of the Royal Childrens' Hospital Cancer Ward. To enter your car in the show'n'shine it will cost $15 per car. (Cut off time for entries will be 11:00am) For people who think that $15 is a bit steep, compare it to Autosalon where the fees to show your car are closer to $100, and they charge you more than $15 just too look at the cars!....and remember, half of the proceeds are going to the Royal Childrens Hospital in this case!!! For people who just want to look, entry is $4 per adult, children free. If you want to enter your car, in the show'n'shine, just tell them you're in the 'Japans Finest' category Hope to see some of you there. ~K
  13. I think coco69 is just a Red Devils groupie :uh-huh:
  14. You should have left the original caption.... it was funnier.. This really belongs in the wasteland :uh-huh:
  15. It's the only way to go If you apply for a car loan, the bank will make you get full comp insurance. With your age, and the fact that you want an import car, it will cost you a fortune in insurance. Personal loan. Then you can have a little bit of $$$ left over for any mods or anything else you need for the car.
  16. Just a further note, that this is on the same day as the Performance forums cruise, but the PF one is being held in the morning.
  17. My advice: Don't apply for a car loan Apply for a personal loan..... what you do with the money is your own business.
  18. The people from ANTRX have invited us to another joint cruise. It will be a night time cruise on December the 14th. there will be a two meet points for people. The main one being the Greensborough meet point. there is a carpark on Kalparrin avenue, which can be found in your melways on map 20, J 1. We will be meeting here between 8.30-9.30pm The other meet point will be the 'Good guys' car park on Canterbury road in Bayswater north/Kilsyth sth.. (next door to Sydney's lounges, city bound side of Canterbury rd.) we will be meeting here at 8pm. at 8.30 we will move from this meet point to the main meet point in Greensborough, we should arrive at the Greensborough meet point shortly after 9pm. The cruise route is still being planned, however, if anyone is keen to know our exact movements, email admin@antrx.com for a copy of the cruise route before the 14th.

  20. JiMiH! change your avatar back! the other one with the pic of the tail lights was HEAPS better! :uh-huh:
  21. You do realise that I'm going to have to hold you to that slappage.... ..... promises ...promises...... Sorry JiMiH.... once I re-read my post, it did seem a bit harsh.... I'm blaming the heat... :uh-huh:
  22. erm.... welcome to last week! we already did that in another thread
  23. Most of the issues that seem to be arising in relation to 'forum issues' are people who have issues with others. Personally, it's my belief that if you have a problem with someone, you should take it up with them personally instead of posting your feelings on a public forum. I am another person who feels that there are 'too many cheifs', and by saying this, I am putting my own moderator status on the line. Some moderators were 'assigned', others were added as moderators because they are responsible people, and can make a judgement call without having to defend themselves. I don't think that the forum needs so many moderators, as there is a button on every post that allows posts to be reported. As long as the reported posts are being taken care of, then thats all that matters.
  24. and yet you seem to have nothing positive to say.... Merli, what do you feel your role is? If you are so offended by Squizz, then maybe you should take him up on the offer of the poll. From an above post... surely someone who spends a lot of time browsing, is going to be one of the best people to do the job??
  25.  I couldn't find a drooling smiley.... so those ones will have to do Love the car! :uh-huh: Welcome! :wavey:
