Hey may sound like a stupid question but hey it's me...... Is there a simple way of finding out what model my Cefiro was originally? Some form of 'stamp' under bonnet? Chassis? etc.... Just wondering if it started out as a 'Cruising' model or not... Cheers, Ando

Heya Quik...welcome aboard As for cruises, well it's really up to you whether u cruze with the 'lines. We have tried to organise a Cefiro cruise but it went a little 'pear shaped' Tried to organise too much i think......but hopefully we should have a NSW Cefiro get together sometime in the near future Maybe something local for a BBQ lunch or something..... Yes yes i did, a big thanks to Tom & Drew for lending a hand, or should i say moral support with the camera. I will be posting up a thread with piccys @ Cefiroz once i get around to it. Also removed the *chime* overspeed box...big thanx to Drew (replicate) for knowing exactly what to do. Also figured out the amp box for my power window is stuffed (two thumbs up to Tom (CC), thus why not working! Was a very productive day overall! Ando

Saw a white ceffie with a kit, FMIC, sounded phat turning off Kissing Point Rd onto Pacific Hwy about 8:15pm last night...plates something like AWPXXX.

Kits seem to very much be 'each to their own'....bit like women really.....what one man finds attractive, the next will cringe at....hhmmmmm.

Hey Dudes, My Ceffie came with those wind shield things that run along the top of the door frames. Due to the car sitting for a long period of time they cracked and had to be removed. Now my dilehma is that i have got rid of the plastic part but have been left with those metal 'clip' things that the plastic rivets onto. I seriously have NFI how to remove the f&*kers!!!! Some were help in by screws which i figured how to get off but there are a few left which no matter how much i pull and yank...wont come out!!!! They seem to be hooked up and over the door frame thru the rubber seal.... Has anyone removed these? Any tips would be greatly appreciated as it looks crapola with these little metal clip things sticking out!!! 1000 thanks in advance!! P.S. Which ceffies are coming to SNS this w/end? I think we got myself, CC & replicate...ne1 else?

I looked into this awhile back and have heard mix reports. Some say the R32 piping may fit, but the majority of feedback has been that custom piping is required. From my research my recommendation would be to buy the core and organise custom piping to be made up. My 2 cents Ando P.S. Well plans have fallen thru for this weekend so I should be there!!! Just need to organise the entry form whooha when i get 2 seconds to spare. CC - Mate sounds good but i think i will be doing the early morning run up there with Blitz.

Hey CC mate, Sorry for putting my hand up in the beggining and then pulling out. Just didn't for see forking out almost 2.5K within first few weeks of ownership...DOH. Oh well new turbo, gearbox and HUGE service, she now runs like new so much more power!!! Just gotta pay off the credit card.....the car is now back in the garage till i can afford to pull it out again. If i miraculously come across some cash in the next few days i'll let u know. BTW, would there be a 'Round 2' buy of these? Cheers Ando

Cefiro - Mate i'd be very very interested to know where u end up going and how they turn out to be. I am also located in Chatty area and need someone i can trust and rely on! If i happen to hear or come across a recommended place, i'll let u know. Maybe PM Blitz, he is also located around the N Shore and may have a good idea. I currently have my car at Nathan's 'Grey Imports' and have only praise for the service and work i get from him. Maybe try calling him and see what he says. He is loctaed in Annandale BTW. 9557 5938.
