HHmmm interesting read.....the ceffie is due for insurance renewal & i may have to give this a look into. Just Cars have been good but if I can be covered for track days....well the choice is simple!

I think everyone goes thru this phase at some point of ownership of a performance vehicle. I did it twice when i owned my R33 but eventually sold in for financial reasons, only to spend more on the next car, Satria GTi. Then sold that due to $$$$ and bought a $3,500 A-B Nissan Pulsar. Only to 6 mths later buy the Cefiro. Due to unforseen costs on the Ceffie I to have looked into selling it, but i think u just need to sit down and do your sums and see if u really are going to get ur monies worth. I think the biggest question u need to ask yourself is... "Am i going to stick with a cheaper, economical car, or am I just going to get another performance vehicle 6 mths later??" I did this twice over and if i knew it i would of just kept my original R33 instead of waisting thousands of $$$$$ selling, buying, moding, etc... My rant / 2c Ando

Where i got my ceffie fully serviced and turbo / gearbox change..blah blah blah At least yours is on the road (well sort of). Mine is an expense dust collector atm. To many things have gone wrong with it and I cannot afford to have them fixed atm. ECU fried......front passanger suspension fcuked, new coil pack needed....and on and on and on. Will have to pop over sometime to say G'day.... Ando

Just my 2c for Grey Imports, aka Nathan. I have had my Cefiro thru the workshop a couple of times and all i can say is AWESOME!!! Nathan is a honest bloke who will always give you the time of day! An example is one Sat arvo, after he normally would of shut up shop my Ceffie had a issue. I called him up and was happy for me to take it down to him right then and there.....in his own time, that arvo he fixed the issue up! Top bloke and would truely recommed him! Ando

Silver Arrowz - Dude if ur with Optus do you have insurance? Are you Prepaid? If billed it will appear as an 'equipment charge' on your bill, normally around $8.13 (inc GST) If your not sure call Optus 1300 300 937 and find out. If you do champ, just make a police report (call local cop shop), then call insurance 1800 501 971 M-F 8:30 - 5:30. They will require the police report # to log a claim, so make sure u do it first. You may be looking at an excess depending on whether u have claimed within the last 2 years with insurance. Ah well my 'Delay slide & snag day' dance worked, but it seems to of worked too well Damn about that costs and booked out factor! Maybe we can brain storm an idea together. The only other thing i can think of is maybe do a Go-Kart day, and see if we can bring our own food for a BBQ? All meet up somewhere, drive to Go-Karts, chill for a bit, go race for a few hours, then BBQ.......... I have been a part of 2 Go-karting mini GP days at EC and i think it is a great day! Costs a bit but u get plenty of track time and if we get enuff together it should be a blast...... My 2 cents
