  2. right here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=109363 hes in vic as well i cant believe he wants $13k for it, but seems to be an awesome buy, if i was still buying a car i would be down in melb today picking it up.
  3. i think your selling yourself short there, ive seen heaps of series II auto's going for the $16k mark, than again i live in syd, theres always a buyer out there, you just gota wait, i purchased my series II auto a few months back for $16k, and the guy i purchased it off were selling the auto's like hotcakes, he was a private importer i would advertise your car in the local papers, your get more of a chance of selling it there, ppl on these forums are car enthusiasts and will not touch an auto.
  4. expensive for a non turbo, prob better spending that amount on a R32 GTS4 or GTST which has a turbo, or u can pick up an auto R33 series 2 GTST for that price, have a look at the for sale section
  5. my skylines has got work euroline series wheels, front 235/17 rear are 255/17 what is the recommended tyre pressure you should pump the tyres up to? i got no idea what it should be the tyre pressure guide i have is for the stock 16inch wheels. any recommendations?
  6. i see they mounted your sat nav pod on the dash mines sitting on the top of my boot looks ugly as. and i got the same bunny ear antennas on the back windscreen, makes your car looked as if its got some expensive stuff in it, than again the sat pod could lead thieves to believe u got sat tracking
  7. well for my panasonic one theres a input box sitting under the passenger seat, its got 4 sets of AV inputs so you can hook up portable dvd player etc.. im pretty sure jap tv specs are pal as well, although i could be wrong but than again, the whole damn unit is in jap besides the remote and buttons on the unit. so setting it to use av is not going to be an easy task, i also got the original manual for the sat nav for mine whole 100 pages worth all in jap.
  8. i think it depends where u live as well, and if its gonna be stored in a garage. some areas have more thefts so insurance goes up
  9. Sir-D did you get your car from joel?? aussiecar compliance? that backdrop and the condition of the car looked like he took that photo before it got complied. if so sweet ride, i got mine from him a few months back, same price, same series 2 and yep its auto
  10. auto 4 door non turbo, easily under $20k
  11. skyline looks like it has so much better handling than the SS, SS was moving around like a boat
  12. clear tail lights are so rice. doesnt matter what car it is
  13. i say your looking atleast $250k for it to get onto our shores, but damn your gonna be the envy of all the ppl on here
  14. but than again the jap's like to show off their gear, so quite possibly its an amp.
  15. true true, if i was driving a skyline back when i just got my licence when i was 17, i think i wouldnt have a licence by now, so glad i drove a 88 corolla around for a few years, have goten into some sticky situations but because the car was so damn slow i could never really go that fast, and believe me when your young and your driving around with a few mates, last thing on your mind is driving sensibly
  16. looks like an amp for your stereo? does your stereo sound really loud compare to standard stereo? check what cables are going info it
  17. yeah its eithe giving your car the bling bling treatment or make it go insanely fast but it just doesnt look as good
  18. seriously theres alot cheaper places to get your car besides envy imports. over inflated prices, plus most of their skylines are series 1's selling for series 2 prices
  19. porsche guy will be loaded, sue him for every cent hes got.
  20. yeah i wouldnt mind getting some of these. the skyline interior definately needs some aluminium to make it look a bit more sporty.
  21. well im 23 no accident history, no lost of licence, R33 series II gtst with minor mods was $1700. so your be looking at close to the $3- $4 mark. its expensive yes. but you gota remember it aint a barina
  22. cool thanx, how can i tell if its a stock ecu?
  23. when he originally rang you to organise the test drive did he call your mobile? im pretty sure you can ask the phone company or cops to do a trace and see where he was calling from, if he was dumb enough to call from hes house or hes mobile, they can easily catch the bastard
  24. man thats just f**ked up, stolen right in front of your eyes. have you gone to the cops and gave them a description of the guy? maybe they can check their records against previously convicted thieves and you can spot them out?
  25. it might sound like a stupid question but where abouts is the ECU located in a series II skyline, ive done a search bought up alot about ECU's but none stating where it is.
