  1. maybe he just like pushing the car to its limits, or over in hes case, i think they take pride in the scars the car gets. also its got a roll cage, isnt it illegal to have a roll cage in a street registered car?
  2. depends where you live. seems trying to sell an auto skyline in melb is extremely hard, this guy is trying to sell hes s2 auto GTST coupe on the for sale section for $11,000 and its only got a bit over 100,000 km's on it. and guess what he still doesnt have a buyer,
  3. looks like theres rust there as well, prob very hard to pass compliance
  4. damn you dropped it even more $11,000?? someone buy this car already, even with a manual coversion your still saving yourself like $3-$4k
  5. 88 corolla hatch with 4A engine, hand me down and i still have it in my driveway 89 fairmont ghia - the closest thing to owning a boat 300km from 60L of petrol
  6. what iLEC is saying also sounds correct
  7. damn the americans are gonna get one sexy car, reminds me of a 350z cross with a lexus
  8. lol the suspension is squatting down from all the power coming from the engine. after all it is putting out 900whp nothing special about it
  9. well when they strap the cars down they dont want any movement, if suspension is soft it will be harder to strap down, if they make it stiff it will be easier. just my guess i dont think the jap's will put blocks of wood in the suspension so it handles better. i would presume they would be the lsat ppl to do that, performance parts is cheap compare to what we pay
  10. what ferni said might be correct, the car just got shipped in from japan, they prob forgot to take it out
  11. wont the wood break or fall out? thats some weird shit
  12. well isnt the sp23 suppose to be the sports model of the mazda 3's? i dont think they are considered slow. i know the standard mazda 3's have a fair bit of grunt and are pretty zippy cars,
  13. if my friend can get a pink slip on hes datsun 120y than im sure you wont have trouble getting yours.
  14. thanks siddr20, price is perfect, gonna give him a call first thing tomorrow and make a booking
  15. what mods wont pass pinkslip? i thought pinkslip they just just check your brakes make sure your lights work, thats it
  16. Im looking at getting my windows tinted. Just wandering if theres any companies you guys can recommend? Im in syd I'll prefer they have mobile installs. And also what type of tint did you guys end up getting? reflective type? UV protective? I was thinking of solartint but ive seen a few cars with tinting done by them and they look pretty shocking, parts of it starting to bubble and its not put on straight
  17. height and damper adjustable to a certain extent. easier to install maybe?? no spring compressors require?? can be rebuildt, instead of replacing them you just get them rebuildt
  18. btw have you taken that sticker off the rear bar? it looks suss seeing theres no stickers on rest of the body. i think there might be a hole there of some sort he wants to hide. for the $17k hes asking for the car, its pretty expensive seeing the car looks dead stock. i would personally talk the price down to $14 - $15k i purchased mine from aussie car compliance, it costed bit over $15k but came with 17inch deepdish work rims with 3inch exhaust of turbo, hks pod filter, front strut brace, tein coilovers all over, blitz gauges with apillar mount, cars mileage 70k km's. no leaks anywhere on the car, had it over 3 months now, car runs perfectly and feels like the km's its done are geniune i would really re-consider getting this car my car:
  19. could be the photo, its on an angle and plus its not as clear as it could get
  20. haha SW20-GT was it that bad? i think the autosalon needs more tuning shops attending and displaying their cars, service and parts they sell. like the jap autosalon
  21. i thought most ppl are running power fc's
  22. do skylines come with space savers or a proper sized spare??
  23. really at the end of the day its really up to you to which alarm you want, reason i got a brant is because the installer has done alot of skylines and i want someone thats confident in installing one, dont want them screwing around and than stuffing up half way through the install and having to call their colleagues asking them how to install it.
  24. maybe they should invite keichi suchiya to test drive it and compare it to the original mine's GTR
