I was wondering if it is possible to custom make a drop tank for a Skyline R33 GTST. Like capacity maybe I am only guessing about 90 litres. Made out of Stainless Steel=$$ or Aluminium. Your thoughts and ideas. I guess this scenario is for the daily work horses. Going to work and coming home. Yes I understand all the weight issues on the sat or friday night when we are in town wanting to make a spectacle of ourselves.....but this is mainly for like I said for the work horses. I am going to come up with some designs and see how it goes. Has anyone done it before?

yeah anyway, So I can hide my Turbo smart mechanical boost controller under the dash somewhere. The length of the hose to the actuator should not matter. RIGHT Next Quest I need a cover for thePOD filter....Any ideas?

My boost controller is the tap type ...simple ...wind up or down. But do i have to have it in the engine bay?

I took my turbo smart boost controller out bcoz the police told me to otherwise its a $300 fine. Just wondering does the boost controller have to be in the engine bay? Can I install it under the dash somewhere and run the line into the engine bay into the actuator. Or is the length of the hose critical that is connected to the controller and actuator? Also my Autometre boost gauge always needs calibration after 3 months or so...which means i have take it out of the dash and pull the dash apart to get in behind it to calibrate it. Any suggestions or similar problems. I Also need an air box made up to fit around my Blitz pod filter. Any suggestions in Sydney?

I seen a red neon glow stick from Dick Smith for $34.95 It comes with an inverter. I might try it out.....but i think it may be damm bright once its hooked up. has anyone tried it? I read about the red vinyl post.....not too keen on it though.

Hi Steve, I've just bought some 3mm LEDs from Jaycar, in blue. $2.00 each. I didn't realise this thread was here and have started one in the DIY section called R32 Headlight switch and LED replacement. There are pics in there. @jetpilot: Did you find the blue silicone covers at Peps as well? I'm not sure whether I can be bothered going ahead with the LED option or just replace the little globes. >> No blue caps at peps.....I am goin to try and paint them with blue translucent hobby paint...at $3.20 wats there to loose. noise happens when stationery and u turn the wheel. even more loud when u are parked on a road slanting in the gutter. (hence more weight on tyre) i think its the balljoints...if u move the front left tyre side to side while jacked up and it moves somewhat does this mean the balljoints are worn out? please assist me in this synopsis. only under load the clicking comes from the front left. where and how much do the balljoints cost?

i want to take out the fuse for auto passenger door lock. bcoz my girlfriend's tits get in the way when tries to unlock it manually. then she thinks i locked her in on purpose and thinks i want to spend more time with her!

Thanks for ur help Randy. I bought the pair of globes at Peps auto parts for $ 3.95 The blue caps were melted onto the old globes...so i just put the new ones in as is. strange as both bulbs blew out at the sametime ...i thought it was a problem with the unit. But all is well now.... Oh yea when i finishes puttin everything back together the unit would not turn on. I blew the 10Amp fuse under the dash somehow. I was bangin my head against the wall i thought i had to strip the dash apart again. But luckily i checked the fuse panel first hehehe. Thanks

u know where the clock is on the dash....i cut a round hole just below the clock to the right and installed a boost gauge...it looks like a factory fitted item. an a small led red light for when u hit the boost button. it looks fly
