  2. Checked the Power FC display and the following sensors where highlighted: IGN - ignition IDL - idle ECC - ? F/P - fuel pump O2H - O2 sensor setter? I'm unsure as to what these are and if they might be causing the issue.. Any ideas?
  3. Does the Apexi Power FC display factory fault codes? If yes, how do I initiate the diagnosis mode?
  4. I'm hoping someone here has more sense than me and can help diagnose this strange problem. Driving home from a hard day at the track on a hot day, the car developed a splutter and would hardly boost at all. The engine revved freely but the turbos felt like they were choking and boost was limited to max 0-2psi. Boost has always been set to 17psi and previously holds steady. Factory boost controller. Knock levels are low always under 35. The next day the car was over boosting to 20psi, greater than the set limit of the modified actuators. After about 10 minutes of driving, the flutter started and the car felt like it was choking again. But retained boost, fluctuating around 15-20psi. I've visually checked most hoses and pipes but there's no obvious splits or loose joins. I've also cleaned the AFMs with contact spray. I'm guessing it might be waste gate actuator related and then the power FC is going into limp mode?
  5. I had the exact same problem for a couple of years and it drove me insane. I had 2 Blitz BOV's venting to atmosphere and a power FC on my GTR. I changed to the stock BOV's and stock intercooler piping and reconditioned the idle control valve and the car now comes of boost without dropping below 1000rpm and idles perfectly!
  6. I completely agree with eightsixboy. I would not recommend an R32 GTR in your situation. My 32 GTR is a shinning example of what can go wrong. I imported the car at 27 yrs old. It was a high quality example with no problems when I imported it. However being a modified car and an RB26, everything that could go wrong did go wrong. Starting with a blown turbo, engine rebuild, leaking shocks, brakes, steering system, the list goes on.... The plan was to keep the car stock as it was my daily driver. I've since modified it more for track work and it has become uncomfortable so I had to buy a commo as daily. If I were you, I would stick with the latest model car you can afford and keep it completely stock until you pay off the loan. That would be the smart thing to do. Wish someone warned me!
