Yeah as mentioned the 2jz uses sequential turboes of the same size, Toyota did this to gain low down power and anyone thats drivin a supra will also know around 4000RPM there is a drop in power when the 2nd turbo comes online. Turbos have come a long way since the mid 90's tho hence the reason people put on big singles on the 2jz. A GT35R wont spool much slower than a stock sequential system on a 2j but will make alot more power. There would be alot of R&D needed to make a sequential setup for a GTR, IMO money would be better spent on a 3L bottom end if you wanted quicker spool

The first time I drove my mates R32 I loved it, felt very light and easy to throw around corners. It just loved to rev aswell, I found it hard to drive sensible haha

Are you just putting on a turbo and running low boost or going the whole hog and upgrading internals aswell?

Personally i wouldnt buy a unregistered car, id be looking at a rb20det R32 or SR20det silvia.. oh and they gotta be manual Also get a good workshop\mechanic friend that can at least do a compression test and go over the whole car. Wouldnt want any nasty surprises

I like R32 shape alot more so I'd choose it over the 33GTR

what about a Toyota Aristo? Comes with the 3L twin turbo rather than the smaller 2.5L in the soarer. Never driven one but being a 4 door sedan would be practical and the 2jz under the hood would surprise alot of people that dont know about these beasts

hey guys as the title says im chasing impul wheels in brissy.. not going through tempe tyres again (long story). Superior tyres say they wont have any for a month or so, anyone know where i can get these wheels in brissy?

just dont rush into something without reading the fine lines.. there are alot of places out there that have stupid charges. try and get a loan that doesnt penalise you for lump sum payments and early loan payouts if u plan on selling your current car and paying off a large amount of the loan.

My dad works for the BP refinery and yes he does say the fuel is manufactured in the same place.. maybe shell add those additives to if after or something i dont know. i still choose to use ultimate over optimax, maybe its just in my head lol.

hey guys, my mates r32 is playin up, pretty sure its something to do with the afm so he wants to get a new computer put in and also a tune. He would like to get a MAP tune i think so he doesnt have any more afm related problems. Anyone know of any good\reputeable microtech\haltech\djetro or other MAP type computer tuners in the brisbane area?
