  1. As the ad states, am selling the car as a complete vehicle, and not separating or stripping parts off it. Genuine 71K, maroon, auto, mechanically perfect, interior is in excellent condition, body is straight, though has some rust in the usual places, eg, top of front suspension struts, etc.. Car is not complied, hence the giveaway price. Ideal vehicle if you have banged up your vehicle and require major parts / interior. $3K firm. Kitch 0413 007 783.

  6. We have already set up a JDM spec GT-R with the Stage 1 Cobb AP and the results were brilliant. They are brilliant and user friendly in terms of set up and functionality (anyone can modify the various set up modes), removes the 180kph limiter, and allows you to clear any error codes that may appear on OEM display..Also boosts performance from 0.8 bar stock to a fraction peak boost of around 1.05 bar. Translates to substantial difference, particluarly in midrange..
  7. Just for the memory Jack.... Muhammad..
  8. The car does not have the speed limiter, and runs Stage 1 Cobb Tuning Access Port.
  9. There will be another Black R35 GTR Premium edition doing some laps this Saturday at Sandown, together with a Porsche GT3 and 2 x Ferrari 360's as part of the Driver Dynamics Track Day with Kev....
  10. It's interesting that you have been a member on here for a whole 5 minutes, and based on your past posts, you have nothing but negatives and scepticism to post. Anyone who has genuinely purchased a JDM spec R35 and would like to know warranty options available for their vehicles, I am happy to discuss with them via pm or in person. The owner of the warranty business who is honouring our 2 vehicles is a close associate of mine, and his advise to me was NOT to advertise that his business is honouring warranties for our vehicles, as he did not wish to receive hundreds of non-genuine enquiries from people who have no intention of purchasing the vehicle or the warranty - I now understand the basis for his advise.
  11. Snowman, Through all my posts, I have never had any negatives to say about Nissan and their deliveries of the R35 GTR. Whilst you comment that it is in my best interest NOT to say good things about local cars, I believe competition and a competitive pricing strategy by Nissan would be fantastic for prospective buyers wanting to get their hands on this amazing vehicle at the price that they have promised. I never stated that it is inevitable that the a price increase will occur - I said that being an entity like Nissan Australia, their primary objective to introduce this Halo model back into the domestic market would be to strengthen their core branding, as well as recognising a profit for the investment. At the pricing that they initially quoted, and as Im sure everyone knows, given the increase in pricing of the MY09 and production costs in Japan, I believe that there is the POSSIBILITY that this price increase may be passed onto prospective buyers who have placed a deposit on these vehicles. If this doesn't occur, then I would take my hat off to Nissan for supplying this car on the local market at a truly brilliant price as promised, given current exchange rates. You are correct on the point that it is physically impossible to import a JDM spec GT-R at current exchange rates cheaper than what the AUS spec vehicles will be supplied onroad, if Nissan pricing remains unchanged. Lets see what the next 6 months has in store for us.. There have been, and are many 'doom and gloomers' on here Snowman - I am certainly not one of them, and do not appreciate being classified as one.
  12. As explained in a different thread, my business partner and I purchased 2 JDM spec Premium editions his in Black, mine in the Ultimate Super Silver. Unfortunately we got hit with a depreciation in the AUD, though not as low as it is today, thank God!! We have successfully obtained 3 year, 100,000K warranties and 24 hr roadside assist for our vehicles. Owes us around 180K on road (including warranty). His was registered last week, mine should be just before Chrissie !!! As mentioned in my other thread, there are companies out there who are doing warranties for these cars. There are the 'usual' conditions on the warranty - eg. not covered for abuse/neglect - they will pay up to certain dollar values, based on parts failure - eg. up to $20K for engine, transmission, etc. The fact is, we are not aiming to see the demise of parts detonation, its just good to know that a company is there to assist us should things go wrong, and we will not be massively out of pocket... $1600 gave us the Cobb Tuning Access Port module, that REMOVED the 180K speed limiter and gave us an additional 0.1 Bar of boost increasing hp from 480 to just on 550 ps , as per the Cobb Tuning proven dyno sheets:) Massive difference, particularly in midrange. It took us 5 mintes to set up, and can be reversed in less than 5. This fantastic little device also allows you to set different driving modes for the GTR (eg - Valet model, which does not allow the car to rev above 3000rpm, incase you need to leave the car somewhere and you are worried about it being abused ) and also allows you to clear any error / service / warning codes that may appear on the dash! Cobb Tuning in the USA are brilliant - this device alone, will probably provide us with more support than Nissan would, had we waited for Aus Spec GTR's that are still months away... We were both initially apprehensive about the purchase of a JDM spec due to the lack of support network that Nissan has stressed from Day 1 for all 'Grey Imports', but all concerns have now been addressed and we couldn't be happier! We will be doing a professional photo shoot around Christmas time, once mine is registered. I will be sure to post pics once they are developed...
  13. Even better- A JDM spec Premium edition in Black, with 3 year, 100,000K warranty and 24 hr roadside assist. Owes him a tad under 180K on road (including warranty). Just registered last week, a very happy man - driving the ultimate supercar with a support network which gives him that peace of mind. There are companies out there who are doing warranties for these babies. Oh, did I mention he paid $1600 for the Cobb Tuning Access Port module, that REMOVED the 180K speed limiter and gave him an additional 0.1 Bar of boost increasing hp from 480 to just on 550 ps , as per the Cobb Tuning proven dyno sheets:) Massive difference, particularly in midrange. It took us 5 mintes to set up, and can be reversed in less than 5. He was initially apprehensive about the purchase of a JDM spec, but now, cannot get the smile off his face...
  14. Working in the industry, it's fact that dealers will verbally tell you anything to keep you 'on board' as required. Given that the AUS spec GTR's will be MY09 update models, Nissan have already imposed an 8% price hike for all MY09 models for world markets. Toyota has also announced a minimum 2.5% price accross the board price increase for all vehicles as of 01/01/09 for Oz, with other manufacturers to follow suit, yet Nissan are going to deliver on their promise of the prices quoted 3 months ago when 1AUD = 90 Yen plus?? Looking at the contract, Nissan can and is likely to impose a hike on the initial pricing, based on 'unforseen production cost increases and changes in global market conditions'. If they don't, thenI will eat my words I genuinely hope they don't, but this is Nissan we are talking about here....
  15. That is correct Gibbo. The prospective purchaser can walk away from the contract without penalty and will receive full deposit monies paid if they request it, should Nissan enforce a price increase (which I do believe is more than likely). Its almost as though it was pre-emptive, by the way Nissan have implied it in their wording - " While there may be changes in final Recommended Retail Price (RRP) pricing of your vehicle, in accordance with state law your actual purchase price will be determined by your selling dealer and subject to your contract(s) with your selling dealer." Covers their backside implicitly..
  16. Yes there is Gibbo. If you look at the clauses of the contract closely, the fixed sale price is subject to more changes than just LCT and taxes. Nissan simply cannot justify a business case by bringing these cars in at current exchange rates based on the prices it quoted pre massive depreciation. I am not saying that a new pricing strategy will be announed upon its launch. All I'm saying is to be potentially prepared for it if it does.
  17. Exchange was at around 70 at the time. Curency hedging is a technique generally used by manufacturers when they are aware of quantities and allocations. At the time of Nissan's announcement, they were undecided as to which scheme they were intending to import the R35 model, let alone quantities. Looking at the fineprint of the current contract of sale, there is a 'subject to change' clause which wouldn't surprise me if Nissan use to their advantage. $200K as a minimum is what I genuinely believe we will see the R35 at, when and if it arrives
  18. I doubt that Nissan will be able to honour their 'advertised' pricing stategty of the R35. As a business case, they would simply be making very little return if they even considered selling it for under $200K. I have just imported one for a client, that arrived 2 weeks ago. Was purchased for JPY 8,900,000 directly from a Nissan dealer. Excluding compliance, and after paying duties, GST, LCT car owes him $170K EXCLUDING compliance and reg, with current exchange rate. No middle man. This is the actual price paid and what it owes him. Abit stupid of Nissan to announce pricing when they did, given the amssive depreciation of our dollar, almost immediately after their announcement. Don't be surprised if pricing is very different to what they previously announced...
  19. This one didn't look too bad stuck in alittle traffic..
  20. NO...IT IS NOT A RENTAL PLACE - it is in fact the rooftop of the Nissan Dealership of Nissan Tsumada, in Kanagawa-Ken, just off Route 129 - no need to draw conclusions without foundation. I have better things to do in life than to pull people's legs and 'claim' that I have driven one without having done so. Like I said, the rawness of the engine IN MY EYES has a rawness comparable to a Ferrari - if you feel otherwise, good for you. I didn't just turn up to a Nissan dealership and demand a test drive - having lived in Japan for over 3 years some time ago, and with a current business partner who is a close associate of the owner of that dealership, it wasn't a difficult request to ask. Next time, keep your sceptical BS to yourself.
  21. I am leaving Tokyo this evening, and I did just alittle better.... I actually took this Black Premium edition for a spin It`s been said a thousand times already and having owned prior generation GTR`s from the R32 to the R34. what Nissan have created with this car is not a new model...it truly is a new benchmark... What really amazes me about the R35 is how un-photogenic it is...... I think its looks fairly average in the thousands of pictures we see day in, day out - Let me tell you guys, the car in the flesh is astonishing...and the sound of it...its honestly comparable to the RAW sound of a Ferrari 360.........as for the performance...well...that needs another thread Enjoy
  22. As the ad states, if anyone has any lying around or off damaged S2 stagea, can you pls lemme know. Kitch 0413 007 783
  23. "Their detailer is a magician and worked on it for 3 days to get it looking like new again!" Yes, that's Mario Corallo from Eurogloss Prestige. He specialised in Paintwork Corection (machine polishing) for all cars ranging from Toyota to Lambourghini. I have personally used his services many times, and his ability to 'restore' paint that appeared to be un-salvagable tp bringing it up to a high gloss professional finish is amazing. Price is very reasonable as well, and will look after any members if they mention that they are members of this forum. PH 0419 881 439.
