  4. dealer advice on a Premium pack with metallic paint is; $154k base (with paint $1750 option) $12k LCT (@ 33% of GST exclusive portion above $57123 LCT threshold) $5k stamp duty and dealer $700 Rego/CTP above numbers rounded out to protect the innocent .... drive away approx $172,500 Anyone got any experience with private insurance costs ? or is it too early for insurers to quote on yet ?
  5. I keep seeing $150k referenced in various threads when cost is discussed, which is book price. The on-road cost consideration is more $170k+ for Premium spec once Gov taxes and dealer charges are included, then any options you pick, then insurance on top .....and that was a month ago when Aussie dollar high. Ouch !!!! Cant do much about Kev's taxes so "enquired" what customer return and benefit I was getting for what I considered high dealer charges. I was advised they were making "significant" investment in new car lifts (to cater for low nose high) as well as "a special" purpose built service area (aka: a new coffee machine perhaps for the service tech ?) ... do ya think customers may just be paying for some of that in the dealer charges ... Interested in others experience on dealer charges, stories that were told, and whether their hands were on, or under the desk, when explaining them ? Probably just have to take it but if cost of import moves about with Aussie dollar value, dealer costs could become an interesting variable in a dealer purchase or import decision (excluding warrenty and service considerations).
  6. just for interest ... here's the australian dealer sales document that they walk you through and you HAVE to sign as purchase condition .... Moorooka_Nissan_Sales_Acknowledgment.pdf
  7. looking for R34 GTR coil pack wiring loom. eg the one with the six grey connectors Regards
  8. Looking for BNR34 VSPEC Exhaust Gas Temperture sensor. The one that reads exhaust gas temp for MFD on dash. PM me please .
  9. Mines playing up - looking for replacement crankshaft angle sensor Please PM me.
  10. looking to purchase R34 GTR cooling panel for under bonnet
  11. MFD boost gauge graphic in pics shows 1.5 bar max so they seem to be expecting boost mods with that sort of scaling....
  12. dont quote me but sure I've seen .7 bar reported for R35. Normal manufacturer conservative approach to boost pressure for reliability etc.
  13. My conspiracy theory .... I'm only guessing but Nissan engineers and marketing guys arent dumb. I suspect its an intentional underplay the true capabilities of first version of R35 as a car "for all people", knowing it may be considered a bit heavy, knowing enthusiasts would love a manual, knowing the styling without further body kits will have some mixed reactions, but knowing the potential they have to evolve the base product. I suspect they are waiting for the counter shots from Porsche and the like (eg Porsche already claiming 7:32 around ring from new GT2 390kw on standard rubber) - read below. http://www.wheelsmag.com.au/wheels/site/ar...plate=domWheels They'll let the dust settle and then blast them again with the lighter tricked up Vpec versions. Hasegawa has more up his sleeve to unfold than's been told I'm sure. Any version can be delivered to my garage when convenient please please Mr Nissan
