While we are on the subject of clutches, mine makes a grinding noise every no and then? It is aftermarket and I had a slip test done on it and it was fine, but that noise is worring me

Hey Paul when can I pick up my t shirts. Sisters 21st last Saturday so I couldnt make it to pas. Looked wicked though, good work.

Looks like I wont be able to make it, have to work both saturday and sunday. 7 days a week for the last 3 months and it isnt getting any better.

I would try not to be rude to them but ask them to prove that it was you and your car. They will prob give you a warnig about it but if you admitt that it was you then they prob could. I was speeding dowm Gnagara road and a cop pasted in the oppisite direction, I knew I was speeding and the cop knew I was speeding but because he didnt have any proof he only gace me a warning. I think you are pretty safe mate

I am pretty sure that more traffic accidents happen in car parks were there is no speed involved. I personally beleive that careless drivers cause more accidents then speed does. How many times have you had to avoid a driver that was pulling into you lane and didnt check their blind spots or mirrors? How about the drivers that are going 20km's under the speed limit on the freeway! That is more dangerous than someone that is speeding because that means that you have to take avasive action avoid becoming a stat for the police to parade in the press!

I am just glad that they are not over here in WA! What happens if you have to over take slower cars, you have to drive faster to get past them safely, or are you better to stay on the OPPERSITE side of the road for longer and pass at the speed limit to make sure that you dont get fined down the road. Sounds a bit suspect to me, to many loop holes. Sure the cameras can calculate that you were MAY have been speeding but on long trips up a freeway a 3km buffer is **** all. Too many varyables in the equasion.

If your car had grade papers with it chances are that the odo hasnt been wound back. The cars at the auctions are also available to the japanese to buy as well, not just for export

That wasn't what I was trying to say mate. Obviously the strip or the track is the best way to test the 2 cars performance, what I was trying to say is how do you know the guy/girl next to you is really going hard or just playing.

Dosen't the traction controll just shut the throttle off a little bit?I knew a bloke that had a vx ss that had traction control and he said it is the biggest waste of time, with good throttle control he said you can get better traction...

Kr1sh there is a camry turbo it is the Chaser. The astra and vectra are Vaxhall aren't they?And Ford had the Seirra turbo, Holden had the VL turbo! Turbo cars are in vogue again and it is a beautyfull thing. Go the turbo

My mate owns as tx5 turbo(3in zorst, pod, boost controller @12psi) and he says that he used to kick r33 skylines until I bought mine, left him smoking his front wheel at the line:D The only way to do a good comparsion is to line a wrx and a skyline up and say first to the light post 400m down the street! My other mate owns a vl 3ltr with 2.5 inch zorst and because it sounds loud he thinks it gos fast, and claims to have beaten all most every car on the road(slightly bulls$*t) but you know what I mean. Talk is cheap and most drag races are not real races any way! My 2 cents and only my opinion ps I love rexs:D

If you wanted to do a real comparsion then you would do the top cars from the manufactura. Theres no point comparing a gtst to gts300 because they are not on the same level(skylines are on the next level:D ) but you know what I mean. Compare the top cars as HPI did and then that is a fair comparsion! The direct comparsion for the gtst would be the executive V8 or superchaged V6(if applicable) which wouldn't be a comparson any way Both skylines and HSV's are nice cars, I still love the look of a bombed HSV or a falcon for that matter, but it is What tickles your fancy:D For the record I LOVE MY SKYLINE
