hey guys you could always try the compliance shops for stock type pads .i have a full set here as spares thet i got off darrin spencer pads rotors calipers front and rears so i should be sweet for a while .

seriously bro we have all been down that rd and all fell over laughing at the price of a key.i went the other way after that and put a black widow alarm with 3 remote keys ie one for me one for the boss and a spare in mine it locks the doors and winds up the windows i forget what it cost around 700 i think installed 3 year warranty and a bloody neat install too.i then went to local shops a mr minit and got 3 patrol blanks cut and put the stock key in draw. the remote keys are not that much more bulky then the nissan key. well my 2 cents says forget the stock key bud .i did look at putting a blank key into the existing remote like if i had a spare one someone wasnt using but it isnt realy worth the heartburn of trying to get the old key out and modifying a new one to fit............. hope that helps mate................ regards mike.........................

if you load up the madwagon just adjust the headlight height on the dash switch simple.beats me that they dont alow the zennon then they put in halogen globes that are as dave said the equiv to the old 6 volt lights in the beetle.i mean its not farkin safe and i stuffed if id pass them for rego like that if i was doing a blue slip or even a roadworthy

thats the one i was looking at buying thru jspec just before i got mine it had 155000 kays on it and i let it go.it turned up on a yard on parramatta rd about 3 months later with about 48000 kays on spedo.i double checked with jspec and is the same car.i was told motor since been replaced cos bottom end was thumping in time to the stereo and now has a 2.6 in her.i see it often around maroubra on way to work.glad i didnt buy it now

we have a donor car in syd but theese prices are from bribane.it would be good if someone up there could lend theirs or we can just do it from here in sydney.but is it worthwhile if nobody is interested.

Hi Mike, I can probably supply the full bar for approx. $400 and the lip for $200 depending on quantity. If you wanted the full rear bar then I would need a factory rear bar to work off but of course the rear would then be around the $400 mark also. thanks so uys who is interested or is everyone all talk

hey bro if its like my patrol one the glass is held in by the plastick backing if you had a template ie the other side may have to reverse it im sure obriens could cut one for you the gen from nissan was 95 bux assholes.you heat the backing up with a hot air gun a hair drier may do it and it swells a bit then the new glass is just pushed into it and when it cools the lip closes over the glass .id have a looksee now but car not here atm.but i sure would be same setup was easy to fit just need a template. the plastick backing looks like its moulded around it but wen u heat it will fit new im sure .hope it helps

it could be compied interstate if you want ie shipped direct to there then transported to wa .i used nismo in qld and john there was excelent and saved me a lot of heartburn and dollars toboot.from what i have heard some compliance place over there is verry dodgy anyway regards mike

because its usless here in australia if he cant change the parts to standard as they will not pass it for compliance here.he also stated he was THINKING about changing the bits and pieces after he has driven it a bit.but to get it passed it needs stock suspension stock exhaust etc etc the way it was manafactured ....................................

has anyone pulled out their satnav setup and not using the tv antenna setup in the rear of the car.ie rear quarter panell and inside the trim on the back door.im chasing theese items for a project with my stag any help would be apreciated .regards mike

couple of things to point out here guys.1 did u buy a stagea thinking it would be like a pirus or a dihatsu charade ?? its a 1600 od kilo wagon. 2 performance wagon means its not going to achieve unbelievable economy. 3 after my nissan patrol at around 19 litres per hundred klm i recon the stag is doin ok try a safc or the likes i do have one but its not wired in or tuned as yet and at the rate mine is going im not in a hurry to do it .mine in stock form gets 11 litres per hunderd with a heavy foot on a run thru the hills and i cant complain about that.

THERE IS PROB A STOP THAT TELLS THE SWITCH WHEN TO DROP POWER.OOPSsorry bout the caps maybee pull it apart and see if the stops have moved first

ok guys next option is to look for a cheaper alternative as i said before i will put some cash for the moulds even tho i cant aford the bar just yet.if a few of us did the same at least the end cost would come down and we would be part owners in the moulds.just a thaught i mean what do you guys want a lot of people were asking about them but nobody prepared to do anything about it .the other option is to import your own which i estimated 700 aud plus paint so even at the price from the group buy you are in front.
