Took car to mechanic today and solved problem. It was the cable running from the shifter to the ignition which is a 2nd lockout for the car. The series 2 Stageas have a button to override the ignition shift lock however the S1's works of the ignition so the mechanic just disconnected the cable and lockout plastic switch from the ignition and all done!! Shifter doesn't stick anymore and the 'brake lockout' is still in place.

As above, my shift lock has a problem and is hard to get out of park. Even when i start the car its not releasing to go into drive. Yes i have put my foot on the brake, and have tried turning the car on and off and releasing + pressing the brake. I can hear the 'click' in the shifter when i press the break but its like the shift lock isnt releasing?? So does anyone know if the shift lock is adjustable if so how??? Also would it be a problem within the gear shifter thats not working??? Thanks

I know this topic is dead and dusted, however i am having problems with the shift lock in my stagea sticking wether im on even ground or sloping ground it sticks badly and pushing the brake in doesnt work until the 4 or so time, i have driven other people stageas and theres have never done it like mine does... What i want to know is the shift lock adjustable?? If so how?? Thanks

I know this is an old topic but saves posting a new one. So has anyone got any info on a Starbo RS 601 turbo timer?? Spec; Instruction manual; how to program; Even the translation of the jap words on the back of the timer would be good, I have a pic of it i will post up soon to see if it will jog anyone's memory. I would like to talk to "Guest_jamesr33_" who seemed to know something about them..... Thanks
