I didn't know the specific gravity and i couldn't be stuffed searching

click on my signature; Besides bullets are made from lead so they are soft as, you could shoot a turbine housing and youwn't even mark it
-
lets just say it's not standard and it's on a CA18det not an RB
-
He doesn't even know his product; 1 Ton of pure water = 1000 litres 1 ton of crude oil = 1200-1300 litres

That's not what they were originally designed to prevent. They were disigned to prevent compressor surge which puts huge loads on the thrust bearings in your turbo. I don't have a BOV on my car running 17psi and i have never had a vac line blow off and my TB butterfly is fine.
-
would you blokes who are blocking up you BOV's by a plate that fitted over the BOV bracket so you could completely remove the BOV? Probably looking at about $20 (just spoke to my brother "GROWLY Custom Machining about them)
-
i would be but my car is STILL in the shed awaiting the last few parts to be fitted. but it's booked in for a tuned on the 24th so i'm spewing that the cruise isn't a week later, but then it'll interfear with the All Jap Day event that is on the weekend after.
-
When you are saying block up your BOV do you mean take it off and block up the holes? or do you mean leave it on and block up the outlet?

they where using a system where money gets held by an independant party untill the item is received. When they sent the email saying they wanted to use this system. She went online and checked the company out and it was legit, so she signed up and sent them a message saying that she agreed to use that payment menthod. They "sent" the money and sent a link to show that the money was being held, so she sent the phone (it was actaully her BF's). Then she never heard anything, so she when back to the money holding site and there was no payment being held. She couldn;t figure out what was happening so she when back to the email they sent about the money being sent and clicked on the link again and it said the money was there again. The thing was the link went to a site with a very similar address and it looked identical to the genuine one but it was mirror site (i guess you call it) that the scammers had set up. She then contacted the Nigerian athorities and they wanted $170 to investigate the fraud, so they cut there losses and left it at that (as the phone was only worth $100 and the postage was $40) But boy did i laugh when i heard that they sent something to Nigeria and got scammed, because the first thing i think when i hear Nigeria is scammers
-
In before lock/delete. From Nigeria hey. So do you have a friend or family member that you have bought a phone for and need us to send it to them for you. i'm sure that you will send the money as soon as you have all my detials as well as my mothers madien name and the name of my first three pets and my passport number. Nigeria is the biggest joke of a country in the history of the internet, as soon as you ahve any dealing with it you are sure that you are going to get ripped off. The thing is people are still falling for it; my sister was stung 6 months ago.

In that case, are you sure your not just hearing the turbo spool up? Under what conditions can you hear the noise? If it's under acceleration i would say that is the case, the turbos just spooling like it should.

R33 Do I Need Injectors Or Reg. Or Both?
D_Stirls replied to SL1D1N's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Using a FPR to increase the pressure to get more head room out of your maxed out injectors is a short cut. If you are going to chase bigger numbers down the track you are going to eventually need bigger injector anyway so you may as well get them in the first place. -
Thanks for the pictures Jeff Did anyone get any video's while it was on the dyno? -Dale

This is cut and paste from a topic on NS.com. The engine was put together form spare parts as well as some cheap parts from eBay just to see what power they could get from a standard RB20. Just for shits and giggles Have a read; it's a bloody good job i say, especially Jeff who remapped the ECU. I believe that the engine has since been taken out of the car and the rebuilt engine that was destined for the car has been fitted. Don't you also have the GTR plenum? For the cost of high CC side feed injectors it would be cheaper to get a custom fuel rail and the cheaper top feeds. EDIT!! i have just seen that you already have the side feeds. The RD25DET injectors are High Impedance & The GTR injectors are Low Impedance But i think you already knew this

As people have said it's not the fault of the workshop because you provided the part that caused the failure. When i installed mine i found the same problem with one kit so i order another kit that was also a cheapy and that one had a longer adapter fitting. I'm in the process of removing the sandwich plate and installing a removal block that completely removes the oil filter assembly and then remote mounting the filter. The SR boys have been doing it this way for quite a while because of the problem that you encountered with the snapping of the cast oil filter fitting. Here's a picture of the SR one, my brother (GROWLY Custom Machining) and i designed the one for my CA18 and made it on his CNC machine centre because no one in the world made them and it'll be finished this Sunday (just have to cut the o-ring grove). I'm pretty sure that an oil cooler will go a long way to fixing your heating problems. The thrust turbo's heat the oil up quite a bit as they are oil cooled and they run hotter than the equivalent water cooled BB turbos. Do you have a SR with the factory heat exchanger on top of the oil filter or not? (some did some didn't) Even if it does they don't work very well. I was having the same heating problems with my CA18 as i was getting oil temps around the 105 mark and water temps around 95 in general driving. As soon as i fitted an oil cooler i didn't get engine temps above the factory 82 degree's and the oil temps haven't been above 90 degrees

That is looking nice. I saw a dark blue standard Aristo driving down NE road today and it looked like ass, but with some dishy rims and a decent height they look really good. Time for a front mount, exhaust and some more boost Have you got the low rear spoiler? the one that is a bit like a boot extension, i can't quite see it from the picture; because that makes them look quite good from the rear IMO. EDIT!! Just saw your pictures on the first page that answered my question.

^^^^^ You'd better do what he says, he has the power to follow through with his threats.

I Am 17 On My P's What Car Would Be Best For Me?
D_Stirls replied to rustykilla's topic in South Australia
Prices are starting to lift for imports now especially N/A ones due to the learner and P plate laws in the eastern states. You should see the prices that N/A silvia are getting now. As for the price in japan there will be more of a discrepancy with the cheaper cars because it'll still cost ~$3000 to get them complied so if they are only $3000 to start with then that's a 100% increase in the price. where as when your buying a R33 GTR for $20,000, $3000 doesn't seem like that much. Althought this one might have qualified for the 15 year rule which means you can work on them for a better price as it wouldn't have cost as much to get it in. -

Well it dark dark blue but that doesn't change how clean it is. I think you might be able to get it a bit cheaper as well, i'd offer them $7000 and see how you go. They have already dropped it from $8999 to $7999 and it been listed on eBay quite a few times. -
I've done a few. i can do it for $200 with you droping the diff off to me and picking it up. I can't be stuffed pulling it out of the cradle and putting it back in.

Hopefully this link will work for Andy's car http://cgi.ebay.com.au/2001-Nissan-SKYLINE...1QQcmdZViewItem EDIT!! No that one didn't either

They look good and i think lenso are an ok brand, they aren't the best but they are far from the worst and they are reasonably priced.

I Am 17 On My P's What Car Would Be Best For Me?
D_Stirls replied to rustykilla's topic in South Australia
I posted this car in your NS.com thread of the same title but then is disappeared. It's cheap to buy and is one of the cleanest i've seen. You can start doing it up with some suspension and brake mods and when you think you are ready in a couple years you can do a RB25Det conversion. This way you won't have to build a car from scratch when you decide you want performance. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...A:IT&ih=006 P.S. i haven't read through the 10 pages that this thread has produced so far;
