  1. Hey guys, just after a awd auto transmission bellhousing to transfer case Can be broken I'm in Logan
  2. cut and move the mounting point on the crossmember. I figured I'd need to change rackends just mainly concerned if it would change out it steers.
  3. Just wanting to know if anyone could tell me, By moving the steering rack over to the driver side about 25mm at all would ruin the steering of the car. Can the rack ends be adjusted to correct it and would it ruin the geometry of the steering? Thanks, Dave.
  4. i believe you are measuring cylinder compression not compression ratio. 2 very different things.

  6. Thanks Brad. Good point there about not being able to turn the engine hard enough. As I'm keeping the bottom stock, hydraulic head with mild cams and springs is the go then. Thanks, got some good info there.
  7. My question wasn't answered If I use the NEO head on the stock 30 bottom the CR will be to high, correct? Reasons why I want to use the S1/2 head.
  8. Hi not sure on this one. I'm looking at doing a RB30 25 head. I have a NEO head and a S1/2 25 head. I want to put the S1/2 head on but was looking at making it solid lifters Question is, am i able to use the parts out of the NEO head to convert the S1/2 head to solid? Cheers, Dave.
  9. I have a good complete RB30e from a mate for free and a RB25det neo blown up. The neo head is still good just that Ive sold all the VCT gear to a mate for his 26 head. So ill be running no VCT in it, im assuming ill have to run 26 cams?.. Just wondering whats involved in mounting the neo head on the N/A 30. Ive search for this but can find it for the neo head. I want to get the engine complete and running so i know its all good before i build it. Thanks, Dave.
  10. Ok just a couple of questions to get me started. Ive acquired a complete but dismantled rb25det NEO minus the girdle. So i was thinking to get a normal 25 bottom off a mate for $300 and build the bottom as normal and put the head on. Will the neo head fit with now mods? Thanks, Dave.

  12. So 10% difference between them hey. Might try and make the rest 112, haha jokes. My mates a bit tight he'll probably sell the thing before a rebuild is considered. Was thinking might get away with a hone and new rings.?...
  13. Well i pulled both turbos off today. Front is fine but the rear has lost its wheel completely. Did a compression test before i drove it home with a blown turbo and all come up at 160 -170 but #6 was 112 Will do another one later in the week. Car ran like absolute shit, haha. My guess is O2 sensor sensors are buggery too. Had been running rich for a while before the turbo went. Mate has no cat in it either So im thinking my mate should. Get a set of decent 2nd hand n1 turbos, new o2 sensors, new plugs and a cat. You think it should be fine with having only #6 cylinder that low on compression?? Does the ECU need the sensor that taps in the exhaust around the middle of the car?
  14. Its all good but isnt good. turbos where on their way out. There is now no rear wheels on either turbo, haha. Wierd though cause it didnt see over 10psi. To asnwer questions though. Custom piping and single blitz atmo BOV
