  1. From what I have seen form is suited to the events. The best in the game are examples of good form. The punters, like every single other sport are a mixture. Training is risky. Injuries are to be expected in any physically demmanding activity. By being aware of factors you can lower risks but, not eliminate them. You can trip over in your living room and get hurt. I would suggest the incident rate of crossfit is likely the same or lower than things like basketball , soccer , and the gym junkies as far as physio's seeing people injured.
  2. pfft. mirrors. If this is deadlifts or squats then mirrors shouldn't be used. Looking at them while moving is contrary to what good form looks like for both. L33SH, you should be ok without checking the back. Deads do work the lower back so occasional soreness is normal. Just check the back mobility for issues.
  3. no one is mocking you. Sharing your actual experiences are valuable. The most effective part of GH blast is the phenibut, the other component ingredients don't address the sleep. So the effectiveness of this experience you have had, is good for you to share. You have been effectively been taking phenibut. Pure phenibut, would offer you a cost saving although sourcing and taste of product may be down sides for you.
  4. Lets start by agreeing that anything that effects sleep is important to be careful with. Also , that almost anything we can eat may give certain people a reaction in a minority case. I think your research needs some help. From what I can see , there is no 'real science' behind your statement. The research on the substance has been on-going for a long time and side effects are well documented.
  5. The water temp effects the lather somewhat
  6. Stretching Poverty in my leg country is 3rd world for sure. At your karate they weren't mean to you then. When I was doing budo yoseikan as a teen my teacher, Yoshiaki Unno ,pretty much fast tracked you to flexibillity via the pain method ha ha.. (he was a great guy tho).
  7. The Weishi or the copy they sell at Shaver Shop is a good razor to learn on. Super mild angle, so hard to cut yourself. It's also hard to get a close shave until you get the angle right. Reward is there for getting the angle but, it takes practice. Very good for people who are sensitive skin types. I've just gone back to the safety last week. Pinaud aftershave burns like napalm after a very close shave, I had forgotten about that ha ha....
  8. I can facepalm . Can't touch my toes..
  9. powder is the go.
  10. I got it from ebay. from this place. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Phenibut-100g-Pure-Nootropic-Go-out-have-fun-dont-drink-Wicked-Gear-/290935953856?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_15&hash=item43bd2259c0 Taste is like very strong grapefruit juice (acidic) in water. It's only $36 for 100g. Bargain.
  11. totally crazy shoulder workout. weight and volume. music is well suited also.......
  12. I doubt it. If you weren't doing heavy ones. If you got the pain while doing them it was likely from something earlier (rotator injury has a delayed onset). If you have completely rooted rotator cuff you can't complete the movement usually. Thats fine. You don't want to overtrain. Bands or Cuban press. Overhead press is bad for your injury, stop doing it, till you have cuban press abillity. The rotator issues are refered pain. You might be able to complete the movement but, inflamation onset takes time. Then you wont bench press for a while? I think that comment is that of bench press addict in denial...ha ha. Whaaaaat ! Because need squat more!
  13. So you have taken 6 months of zero benching? Plus the rehab including cuban press, broomstick shoulder dislocation stretches and the rest? I got the impression you keep doing bench regardless because ' a comp is comming up...' ha ha.... No bench means you have more time to focus on squat. Why u no squat 200?
  14. Your grip is weak. Keep doing deads and it will get stronger eventually. Then something else will lag. Use normal grip instead of mixed to help with developing the grip strength. Also focus on squeezing the hell out of your grip when you lift.
  15. Stop doing bench for 6 months. Do the rehab and you will be much stronger going back in.
  16. yesterday; rear delt raises side delt raises front raises
  17. I understand. You are quite right that it would assist sleep (contains Phenibut). I think you have a good point as Phenibut isn't an easy suppliment to find.
  18. Leesh. Phenibut pure. That Dorian Yates stuff is expensive repackaging, no points for guessing Mr Yates didn't get his huge size thanks to this stuff. Don't think Dorian is a goal body shape for you ? This is why I think the Yates powder is having a lend: * It's not going to boost test (if it did it would be illegal). * ZMA , called zinc tablets (when not being touted by muscle building supliment companies), is basically $6 for a bottle of 100 tablets from Cenovis, with the Zinc Magnesium & B vitamin ratios that work. IF you are deficient. * Maca Puriens contains trace amounts of L-DOPA as it's claim to fame (so do ordinary broad beans), thats not a hormone balancer of any kind. * GABA has a weak amount scientific evidence for it's effects, given it can't pass the blood brain barrier. So it's mechanism for efficacy is not known if it can work. Phenibut can pass this barrier hence is evidenced as being effective and understanding of the mechanisim. There is Phenibut in this stuff but, it's an undisclosed amount. That is the part that works. Phenibut is about 3c to 12c a serve and works vs $2 - $4 a serve for the effective part.
  19. Cool. ultimately addressing the source of the anxiety is the long term solution.
  20. If you are fearful of medication you can try 'supliments' , if you haven't already, to see if there is improvement. Phenibrut is an example. Primaforce do it in powder form.
  21. A long time ago, I had insomnia of a similar kind for over 5 yrs Leesh. I used medication to 'reset' the sleep pattern so to speak over a few months. I went days without sleep sometimes. Eventually it caused me some physical health issues. Also, you fall into a pattern and the 'lack of sleep' thoughts further add to your stress ,causing more lack of sleep. The medication I used basically 'puched my lights out' at a time when I wanted to go to sleep. It had some side effects that I would say are nothing compared to long term lack of sleep and go away the moment you stop taking them. Go ask your doctor to help you out there it's worth it.
  22. Did 3 sets of deads yesterday (first since the challenge). and some pullups.
  23. Feels like I still have some mobility issues, my form on standing press felt off, not getting the elbows forward enough for position before the presses . The shoulders are sore today as well. Pushups are an endurance thing not strength. I should be able to do over 100 in a row but, I can't yet.
  24. testing the shoulders out today. rear delt raises Military Press 70kg - 20 reps Military Press 95kg - 5 reps 70 pushups.
  25. my shaving kit ; Omega shaving cream Omega brush Woodys post shave rescue Pinaud-clubman aftershave Alum block (almost never used). Razor -- Mach 3 . Best disposable on the market closest to a good safety. The fusion and others simply aren't as good. Gillette made a commercial mistake making them as good as they are. Blades position and design mean they take longer to dull. They poured huge money into trying to get users off the Mach 3 but, failed ha ha.. You can get aftermarket handles for them Mekur makes some nice ones. For afternoon / evening tidy up (if needed for event) or traveling I use a Braun top end 7 series.
