  2. Alot of FaQ expansion threads could be done ontop of this instead of the "Use the search function" Covered many times Thread locked scenario that usually follows suit. Another good example would be the BOV and Atmo BOV scene. Simplified sections that could be seperate of the Quick Ref guide that way there be alot of good info covered in the one topic instead of links to this that an the other.   5. Curious do you have a graph of the dyno plot? As well as if there was a vacuum leak it would certainly show itself, rough idle, loud hiss type noise associated with it. As well as just curous do you have any ems or safc installed? Could be in tuning itself, Another theory is the dyno reads low, ie: 10% as compared to other dynos that would put you up in the vacinity of 180 rwkws. Amount of piping doesnt really reflect on lack of boost either 8psi is about normal with no boost controller. But if your concerened that there is a leak amongst the piping some soapy water and put it around the joints, look for bubbles. Thats a start Just a few theories Cheers

  8. theres usually either painted marks or imprinted dots and slashes on the backing plate line these up as well you will need to line the bottom crank one up and that should bring it back to TDC The marks on the front covers are usually to adjust timing from tdc like on the rb25det where the CAS sits to line it up at 15 deg btdc That should help Cheers

Ok decided to pull the FMIC off yesterday to clean the inside of it in regards to SK's 50/50 metho and kero mix, so went ahead and did so and well it hadnt been done i dare say since the it was put on the car before me, since then it had a rebuild new turbo new tune and the likes. Before rebuild there was a bit of blow by as well so thinking this would have collected over the time in the FMIC. Anyway followed some previous instructions and cleaned the intercooler out flushed it after the meth/kero mix with boiling water did that a couple of times and left to dry in the arvo. Was dry when put it all back together. Now the interesting part.... Whilst driving along i thought hell give it a little boost it boosts fine no popped hoses no nothing until about 4700 rpm and still at full boost so 19.6 psi it gives like a r n r backfire 4 or 5 times. No registered knock on pfc ie: Still the same peak value as before i put the foot down. that being 12 on the controller. But back off once i heard it as it never did it before the FMIC cleaning. Any Idea on what it may or may not be? Cleaner IC Cooler Air Temps? Rich Mixtures? Throw me some ideas for me. Plus there is no noticable boost leaks or pressure leaks as i did check these. Cheers A

The housing design on the hks pro s housings are designed to be gasketless in there nature as in flat surface matching to dump, but as said you can use the sealant stuff on there as well. to install turbo injectors and z32 800 could be about right dependant on mechanic charges, but its allways fun to try and do it yourself, its the only way to learn esp if you have to remove it for any odd nature in the near future. Also curious with this grinding out the manifold flange to match the housing? If anyone gets the change measure the actual length width of mani vs housing just curious on how much in terms of area is actually different. Cheers

  14. I wouldnt stress too much anyway, you'll get the customs letter to pay for the duty to get your goods then you know there in Australia, they do take a long time but they do eventually arrive Good luck with it

  16. mines 81 c full op temp max 83 under heavy boost or idling say 4 mins max for 83 to get there never any hotter PFC temp
