  1. Got mine from Nissan Spare Parts, fit's perfectly, think it was about $15
  2. Yeah, sounds good, hopefully mine will just need smoothing out. I'll go and give them a go. Thanks
  3. Silver gts-t, Sounds promising, do you know how they will fix your gutter rash, ie will they machine them? MANWHOR3, This the first I've heard of this, I spoke to a couple of places who advised they would machine them as long as they don't need to take to much off (Mine arn't really that bad). Hard to know what to do, I'd like to keep them as their really nice rims. Thanks
  4. Do you have any personal experience with them? It's always hard to know where to go, especially when you get multiple recommendations. Essentially I want to go to the best and get a bloody good job done. Thanks
  5. Hi Guys, I have a nice set of Enkei rims, 3 of them have mild to moderate gutter scuff, otherwise in perfect condition. Does anyone know of any where in Sydney who would do a good job of machining them off? Also would this affect the balance or strength of the wheel at all? I have been told this is not a problem as long as you don't machine to much off? Any advice appreciated. Thanks
  6. The assessor is from my insurance company, I lodged a claim with them and have been dealing with them directly, since the beginning. I stressed my concerns and asked for it to be written off from word go, but I guess at the end of the day their just interested in the numbers. Car should be ready ina few weeks, my panel beater is still adoment the car will look and feel exactly the same, just have to hope the best I guess!
  7. BARSTARD, The assessor has instructed the panelbeater to repair it. Panel Beater assues me he will take his time do the job properly, and it will be good as new. Guess I'll have to hope for the best!
  8. Agree totally, I would try and fight it. 17 years ago when I was on my P's (and driving a Commodore) I had a similar thing happen (only about $1500 damage) and infact the guy refused to speak to me or exchange details at the site of the accident. I went the the Police and the local court house, and had the sheriff issue a summons in person (very little cost). The other driver ignored the summons, so I issued a writ and sheriff went round to his house and confescated his PC, TV, and Video recorder. Amazing how quickly he paid up after this (including court costs)! Sometimes it pays to be persistent.
  9. Yeah, I totally agree. If I looked at a car that had any sign off a hard hit I'd simply walk away, wouldn't even bother trying to bargain. The insurance assessor has had a look and just need to crunch the numbers, so hopefully it'll be writen off
  10. Thanks guys, Some good points, makes sense. Thankfully it looks like the car will be written off, my panel beater seems pretty dam sure of this, the chassis and suspension are both damaged. We'll see what the insurance assesor sais tomorrow morning!
  11. Thanks for the reply, Yeah that's pretty much I thought. I've taken it to an exceptionaly good Prestige Panel Beater, so I guess I'll just have to hope for the best!
  12. Yeah that was me, Silver/Grey R34GT-T 4 Door right? I was stationary in merging traffic and some silly bitch in a van nailed me straight up the arse at full speed, the whole back window completely smashed through the entire car on impact, and my chassis also damaged. Looks like at least 15K worth! She hit me so hard the roof of her van buckled. The S15 had nothing to do with it, that was the old man, who came to give me a lift home. FARKN SPEWIN
  13. Hi Guys, I had a very clean and straight R34GT-T, until some silly bitch ran up the back me at full speed on Sunday. It was a f**kn hard hit, so hard the van she was driving buckled it's roof. The rear end of my cars totalled and there's some minor damge to the chassis, (suspensions OK) about 15K damge. My panel beater (who's very good) tells me it will fine and I'll never know it's been in an accident. I'm not so sure, I really worry about cars once they've been in a hard it like that, with chassis damge. I'm wondering should I keep the car, or just sell it once I get it back? Thanks
