  7. Surely they didn't think the gravy train would run for ever? Same as tradies who did desal and wasted all the cash cos they actually thought they were worth 200-300k.

  10. Oh yeh the term hoon is loose as deffs media fault but again not overly upset by that I'm against driving offenses like that too many lives lost & injuries from carelessness
  11. Well there has been plenty of protests without issue and realistically 95% of them are no problem so clearly police discretion is working just fine so far On the other hand import drivers are a bad example cos a vast majority of them are d*ckheads & the cars aren't legally compliant sooo despite the poor me cry me a river crowd they legally deserve what they cop. I mean I can't complain much I knew full well my car wasn't 'legal'
  12. "All of those protests can be inconvenient to government or to other people, but we have a right to protest in this state and we don’t think it’s necessary to have move-on powers, where people have their names recorded, simply because you may obstruct traffic or you may obstruct someone from entering a building,” Pakula told 3AW. “It’s the price you pay for living in a democracy.” The price I pay for living in democracy is to have some assholes decide to block traffic or stop me entering a building? Is it not my free democratic right to go where I want when I want?
  13. It doesn't stifle free speech at all its targeted at unlawful protests and gatherings ie the emporium protests that caused havoc for thousands and wasted numerous police resources and millions of taxpayer dollars. It has no impact on legal lawful protests and freedom of speech just allows police to intervene when necessary.
  14. Nah although I do think the east west link is vital infrastructure anyone in the western suburbs can tell you how needed it is. I meant about him looking after his mates no need at all to do this who is anyone to block traffic or disrupt people going about their business? http://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2015/feb/10/victorian-labor-attempts-to-overturn-anti-protest-move-on-laws
  15. Daniel Andrews certainly hasn't wasted anytime pandering to his mates
  16. labor. who else?
  17. The proposed measures labelled extreme are about $15 billion worth which is nowhere near enough to get back to surplus so if people think these measure are bad wait and see what will come in the future when it's well past the current deficit
  18. Labor are hopeless and debt has always increased under labor leadership as shown here - so while external factors certainly play a role, so does poor management. $900 handouts, insulation debacle, school building joke? need i go on.. all under just ONE labor gov mind you.. if you dont think that going the same way we are now is going to lead to huge problems you got your head firmly in greens propaganda.
  19. Don't be ridiculous I told you I'll happily take a labor government but given that they haven't delivered a surplus in longer than your existence on this planet it's clear to blind Freddy they have no idea how to run the country and the budget so that single damning fact alone says they are incompetent without getting started on the other glaring flaws.
  20. gangster as! Lovin it?
  21. Surely your joking. Get them greens goggles off. You want you kids kids to be burdened with debt do you?
  22. well we can be confident that the age is definitely no longer the intellectuals paper

  25. http://m.smh.com.au/business/why-private-health-insurance-is-so-expensive-and-what-can-be-done-about-it-20150122-12vi1y.html The chief executive of listed fund nib, Mark Fitzgibbon, proposed three solutions to ease the pain: encouraging greater take-up of insurance by young people; increasing collaboration between insurers and healthcare providers; and reconsidering risk equalisation - the policy that shares the costs of the industry's most expensive customers among all funds.
