Well it did say it was a flypast but didn't think it'd be so literal flew by slowly and that was it.. Was very underwhelming!
The others at least do something but eh still a good day. Shame the f22s are static display only too
Today is gonna be best day of air show imo cos the b52 stratofortress is only doin a fly over today not any other day real shame cos it's a huge ass mofocker
Just cos they look chinese doesn't make them a foreigner man, plenty of 2nd, 3rd, 4th generation permanent residents just as entitled to buy as you are.
I hear Ya man but being in the industry and having contacts all over im gonna go with the info im getting from people on the front line it's a non issue - just a popular policy for the 'battlers' / art students who took gap years and fkd around through their 20s and wanna blame someone for the fact they can't afford a house.
How many people do you think are trusting friends or family with hundreds of thousands possibly millions of dollars to get a house to get around laws? Not many Id imagine especially since they can apply to the foreign investment review board for permission
Yes there is a lot of asians, come west heaps of indians too Australia's a small population.
You've got one example it's hardly solid ground the statistics on foreign ownership in aus are actually very low
It's a media beat up playing on Australia's underlying racism. I'm not even backing them up as if I make money out of it cos I sell established houses and I need to shift 10 or more for it to be $5 mill worth lol
But they haven't really the media is spinning bs the law is quite firm
Foreigners cannot buy established property unless they have correct visa which in many cases states they must sell it when they leave if they don't become permanent resident.
They do have pretty much unrestricted access to new property - apartments house & land etc and in cases for $5 million plus property (apart from Dezz who cares) so it's a big beat up.
Just cos someone looks chinese/ indian or whatever and outbids you doesn't mean they aren't just entitled to that property as you are given they are 99% likely to be a permanent resident as the law requires on established property.
Reason for all the above and allowing them to buy new is simple - it creates jobs for people like Dezz gov is ok with this. Established no job creation so no no.
Yeah anything above the bottom of range will force them to amend if not call reiv theyll hammer them quick smart! It really varies suburb to suburb but the inner city market is so hot at the moment reserves seem rather irrelevant for good properties
Agents a prick I hate under quoters.
How they get away with it you ask? They quote the agents estimate of selling range and put vendors reserve price as TBA on authority thus they are allowed to quote off the esr they've provided which has to be substantiated by sales (easy to manipulate) owner sets reserve on auction day agent changes price accordingly all legal.
If you wanna fk up the agent submit a written offer of full price prior to auction if the vendor rejects they are legally required to raise the ask to no less than the price you put forward
That's epic coin, aus is stuffed pretty much lowest paid agents in the world usa 5% is common even nz pay 4-5% + GST
Shame they deregulated comm we could have been rolling in it like Dezz
