  1. Narh mate I've met plenty of tradies, I'm comfortable with the stereo type being 80% accurate
  2. You don't seem like a bogan Neanderthal so could be that Obviously not allll FIFO are bad but it's likely an 80/20 scenario Just cos it's someone's job to 'serve' does not make them a slave and common courtesy should always apply
  3. Watch ya back!
  4. As if the flog would have 5k would be a pointless exercise
  5. Thing in the mail ham as in court summons with there version of events and what they are claiming, spoke to insurance company already they said they'll take care of it. I truly don't fancy there bottom feeder lawyer vs cgu insurance - poor bloke probably didn't get informed by his 'client' that insurance company have a witness to the accident so probably won't get far..
  6. Sounds like a cult
  7. Rwc as the buyer should surely be far easier than a seller obtaining one hopefully
  8. Nah our insurance fixed my missuz car free after determining other party is at fault, however they have no insurance so now I guess trying to sue cos they can't afford to fix their shitbox car Yeh i figured insurance will sort it out, the people are such plebs not to mention we have a witness who saw it and said it's 100% the other persons fault so don't like there chances
  9. On another note an uninsured lady smashed into me missuz car about 6 weeks ago, we got a witness and her insurance has fixed her car at no cost all good and then today get a thing in the mail these plebs want to sue my missuz for $7k da Fark? Will insurance company handle this or do we gotta go court ourselves and argue this crap ? Amazing they couldn't afford insurance or to fix their car but can pay a lawyer #godihatepoorpeople
  10. Yeah I dunno man I know some teachers to and they really don't seem all the unhappy about the situation and holidays / pay etc every job has it's pitfalls and over time I'm just sayin $85k regardless of where your living is hardly a pittance comparative to what work others are doing for drastically less
  11. 85k puts her in the top 20% income earners Australia and they get a large amount of holidays so really I don't think $85k is all that bad I do agree however re nurses etc #flamesuiton
  12. There is no first home owners grant unless you build, you will be entitled to the stamp duty discount first home buyers get which requires you to move in within 12 months for a minimum of 12 months from memory
  13. Sauber f1 steering wheel pretty darn cool
  14. For that measure it's more reasonable. To say 'our debts not that bad' is ridiculous particularly when they leave out that it's one of if not the fastest growing debt of all the OECD countries but of course nobody mentions that
  15. And labor did implant taxes on people like me anyone else remember the flood levy?
  16. It's really not that bad the vulnerable are not that much worse off at all young people should work or be studying, they should pay to study why should the people fund their study? The dole should not be a free ride, Pensioners are still going to be far more better off than probably anywhere else in the world id love for them to have more if it was possible but frankly the rate it is going there would be nothing for anyone Abc like really who cares labor should fund that themselves they basically are labor propaganda shows 90% of the time with a sprinkle of bbc content I don't disagree the budget isn't perfect for everyone but it's what the country needs for long term future I'm not so one eyed to not see it in a balanced light most people are letting emotion get in the way of opinion on fundamentally good policy. Not all ideal but is what it is at this point in time. Let me guess not one of you have an issue with $180k+ earners paying a debt levy right? Ultimately money has to come from somewhere would you guys like to increase you % tax paid to help out the vulnerable you care so dearly for? Sadly I think we all know the answer
  17. I'm not saying the budgets perfect I do believe it's the kind of budget we need the age of entitlement needs to be stamped out. It's actually ridiculous that labor party still exist given they have consistently proven they cannot manage the country (economy) they have failed to return a surplus for over 40 years! How they can be so blatantly incompetent and get away with it is staggering Just remember these measures have only come about because of the wasted spending and mismanagement long term the country will be better off They say oh we don't have a debt crisis look at the OECD countries we aren't as fkd as them, so what they are basically broke is that truly what we want to benchmark off? How about the rich nations with sovereign wealth funds that have billions tucked away provide free health, education and more to everyone shouldn't we strive to be like them not a broke kicking the debt can down the road country like USA / Europe? $9 billion a year is the interest alone on labors debt that could fund so many things!
  18. No worse than the $80 billion on inadequate infrastructure that's going to be incredibly inconvenient while construction / altering and probably will hardly be sufficient to meet demand
  19. well like normal they'll refuel mid flight etc also labor had already allocated similar anyway nobody cried about it then
  20. I hope not but I'd rather have em then not who knows what will be the environment in 10-20 years from now
  21. What part of labors spending was logical? Giving 900 to people for nothing including prisoners, dead people, people living oversease who wouldn't spend it in austrlalia? The insulation debacle? Perhaps school building except they got things built they didn't want or need.. I challenge someone to find the last federal labor government to return a surplus you'll truly be shocked with the answer
  22. Not an employee as such and mad deductions with my job which is more so where works out well still pay too much tax IMO
  23. Yeah same birds I was furious at the time at such stupidity and waste And nah tony got my accountant to keep things in check
  24. It most deff wasn't strict anyone earning under &90k (I think) got it I don't know exactly all I know was I didn't get jack squat lol People are dumb blamin liberal would they rather keep spending like labor and in 10 years would be NO assistance for anyone as the gov would be flat broke.
