  1. They're in stock in Sydney. Pickup is also available if buyers prefer it that way
  2. PMs replied Size of these gauges are 52mm.
  3. nupe... its pretty easy there's double sided tape but its easy just undo the 3 screws and pull it from the bottom, and slowly pull from the wheel arch side and it'll come right off
  4. I am about to purchase a set of gauges from JDRC, and they've offered me a group buy oppotunity to get it at discounted price. These gauges are made by S Gear, model is Crenate 2. Group buy is limited to available stock in their Sydney warehouse, 4 water temp, 3 oil pressure, 3 oil temp gauges, and 3 remotes, unfortunately no boost gauge for this group buy. They all come with wires, sensor and stand. They are $125 each for the group buy, remote is extra at $15 each, $360 if you buy a set of 3 and you get a remote for free. Shipping is free. Here's a video of how the gauges work: You can switch illuminated colour between red or white via the remote and set warning beeps, they're 52mm, OD is 58mm. Water temp and Oil temp are displayed in degree celcius, up to 150 'C, Oil pressure is displayed in Bar up to 12 bar. I will arrange to have the gauges shipped out as soon as an order is placed, so you don't have to wait until we've gathered everyone. The group buy will close on Sunday the 26th of July.
  5. it sounded like some kind of metallic rattle, like heat shield rattle, and when it happens it only happens on low rpm say 1300~2000, medium-high load, and doesnt really do it when the load is low? (RPM/load dependent) sorry i just had to ask to make sure since rebuilding/buying new gearbox is the last thing i wanna do...
  6. Bin you should also do a thread on "Heads Up For Guys Getting Tein Over Bilstein"...
  7. hrm.. the e-mail thread tracking sys isn't working too well... please keep us updated, I did suspect that it was possibly the clutch so see how we go there.. your theory does make really good sense, however there are still a few people who also mentioned driveshaft/uni which I guess is also worth looking into. cheers
  8. Sorry for digging up an old thread, I have simillar problem with my current R33, I've done a search and it seems like there are diverse opinions on this according to other threads some says bearings, some say uni joint, some says gearbox internal, some says diff, and some says its exhaust.. it sounded simillar to rattling heatshield but I dont have any heatshield on the exhaust. However, it seems like the uni joint had the highest vote in this, but there is another member who experienced the same problem said it isn't uni. so what can it be?! It only occurs between 1500~2000 on mid-high load, and also makes the interior rattle when this happens. Has anyone had the same problem and got it fixed? I did notice a mate's R33 made the same noise too but definitely nowhere near as loud as mine, my old R33 didnt have that problem. But he reckons its the exhaust I tried 2 exhausts and it didn't affect noise, so I kind of doubt it. other info on my car: I have some sort of aftermarket clutch put on by the previous owner, heavy-ish compared to standard clutch, but its pretty easy to use, engagement is like cushion button or standard organic clutch. So I doubt its the twin plate rattle. gearbox works fine, no crunches, a little notchy when cold, smooth when warm, no problems with reverse gear either another related thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Vi...l=gearbox+noise
  9. I was going to buy them, unfortunately i had to give it a pass as soon as I found out about the offset and width I've inspected them in person, the scratches aren't too obvious, and he's pretty honest about any imperfection can't see the scratches unless you look up close, there aren't any buckles and the tyres are good. Welcome to post if you have something nice to say, or if you're interested in buying them, but I thought what you've said in you reply was pretty rude.
  10. yup 8' wide on all 4 wheels.. offset's +30 front tyre width is 225 rear is 245
  11. I'm open to negotiations, but only to reasonable offers... I realised that there's a trend in SAU that people tend to offer something like 1/2 of the asking price for everything and it's starting to annoy me a bit...
  12. my bad, i think i got confused with the tyre size... I think Spikey's right, its 225/45 for front and 245/45 rear. I'll double check tomorrow wheel size is 18x8 with +30 offset though

  14. PMs replied please go easy on offers guys, I know its feels good to get a bargain from negotiating, but I don't post up a price doubling what I'm expecting, so don't offer half the posted price or less. for those of you who are interested in what it sounds like and yes its genuine, it has apexi logo on it just like what you see in the picture
